if I'm iruna developer, I create after-boss battle performance stats/benchmarks that favouring good role-playing that somewhat like 5-star rankings after a every battle as seen on final fantasy 13 (please refer YouTube video below about guide to get 5-star rating on a ff13 fight) I would make stats like amount of character got K.Oed,amount HP and MP items used, amount of hate bar shift, battle time, etc show up after every boss battle. I can guarantee if such battle performance stats/benchmarks exist, it would greatly encourages people build their stats suitable to their class role. Dindn't watched the video but atleast I know what you are referring. Ain't Toram has something like this? Best tanker, damage, and etc. (After each boss kill). Correct me if I'm wrong. That would be good tbh. After kill statistics. idk I never fight any boss in toram except the first wolf boss during toram is in alpha beta and still in Japanese. i can't remember if toram have any after battle benchmarks. my 512mb ram budget phone can't start toram at all on English version, it's just blank black screen.can only hear background music.

TBH this thread came from the solitude I feel lately after coming back to Iruna from a year hiatus. The jobs I've played are Monk (my first char), Enchanter, Samurai, Paladin and Servant. At the beginning Iruna was all fun, partying at Skellies to lv up till 50 and get an hihiiro hammer to become the most OP player on Iruna but as the game improved and updated the community became more and more soloist so thats why I made an Enchanter. Got desperate when the crowded market started to overpice every single item in game but I kept doing my best to improve myself. Then the rollback happend and I just left Iruna. About a year later I came back and made a Samu just to test it and liked it but its not a low budget friendly job so I left again. Now I'm back again with my Paladin and my Servant liking my Servant a lot since my nature has always been the support roles and managed to get to lv 221 with decent equipment but here I am stuck again. What's the point implementing support jobs on a game with essentially solo community? Maybe are just bad days for me ingame or idk what else but all I do these days is lfp for hours on grinding spots or grinding solo at High Ents till I fall sleep. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone in my situation know that I would be glad to help em out and pt with em so feel free to call me whenever you need n.n I'm really supposed to make a thread specifically for people to find their daily grind/farm session party but I don't know how should I make it or what is the best approach. As I see it there is two pt setup for grinding : - Aoe tank + aoe DPS + support. - High DPS + support. This one works better with the members separate from each others and each one and killing its own mobs. Sometimes it is even faster than aoe pt. Those two works wonders for exp quest or exp mob.

For me, the first big challenge is to find players that don't mind wasting some time do know other players. After you finally meet someone willing to talk a bit instead of rushing in their tasks, the second major challenge begins: To find if this person reliable or not. You can even find people to talk with, but maybe this ends up being just trolls.
I don't mind joining a pt as long as everybody works for the pt improvement instead of just complaining all the time. Playing in a party can be very fun, but can be frustating sometimes too.

Toram's battle system greatly encourages pt boss farming Not only do they have rankings at the end of each battle, (Tank, Breaker etc), you also get a reward. Don't belittle this reward though, I often get the good stuff (boss crysta, rares etc) from this reward *^* thats why i always find a pt when boss farming (although i would prefer not to :/ ) And you can only have this ranking at the end of every battle if your in a pt

I mostly solo because im always afk, like every 10 boss kills (I farm just what I can solo). Finding pt now is like just so imposible (specially if your class is not one of mainstream party set-up now a days) lfp-ing will take time and all I can get is low levels that are under geared.
The most fun partying I experienced was doing ATG, naga, mawid and PTD exp quests, so much miss this kind of leveling grinds, that I can party any class that can kill the required mobs and this is where I met most of my friends that are inactive now T.T.
Well with the good equipments that are available now, people are trying there classes capabilities and it really feels good to solo kill a hard bosses. All classes now are capable of soloing that the only question left is which is the fastest to kill this boss?

Can't really blame those players,is their choise.
And What i see is majority of this thread commentor somewhat don't have any change to meet their ideal pt,so why don't you all meet in game and try to creat your ideal pt rather than just.....well,talking >-<

Not sure if it's "obsessed with soloing", but 99% of the time my friend list is a ghost list - resulting me in partying with randoms. Partying with randoms usually results to "Lfp Bishop, no *insert topic that shouldn't be discussed because there have been countless threads about them*", and what do I get?...... Then I just grind one shot mobs.

Back in the days before minstrels become mainstream class in party (before 4 songs and sweet home release). I force myself to solo boss (even if there is an option to change to ninja) but it is worth till today since I prefer my to take leisure of solo farming certain easy boss or challenge my self to defeat hard boss even if it mean to get 2 or 3 uncommon for upgrade materials. However nowadays since there are too many minstrels, I feel it is too competitive for me to get into mainstream party and there is a need for me to be able to solo boss to gain spina. So nowadays I prefer to farm with non mainstream party which is sometimes if they know what they do even slow pace it is safe everyone alive at the end of battle and had chances to get rare unlike some mainstream party which fast kill boss but didn't care to make sure other party safely make it to end.

This isn't a hard concept. Why WOULDN'T you want the capability to solo? Bishop is my favorite class. If none of my friends are online, and no one from the community wants to farm the bosses I need, what would I do then? I'm not gonna let a certain class' job dictate what I choose to play.

Soloing is a rewarding feeling. That being said; if it's not an efficient solo then I'm not interested. If my 20 secs of special status run out and the boss isn't dead, it's not a boss I'll solo farm. As an enchanter, most of my pt are with friends. This is a mmo, you should probably try and make some friends. We pt because we have fun together. It may be a sin, glad, ench and min party... think outside the box, play with friends and try to meet someone new everyday.

I personally refuse to solo on an MMORPG with a support class because that's exactly what MMORPGs are meant to be. I stated before that I agree with some ppl wanting to solo and experiment with builds. The problem comes when that kind of plays style become mainstream.

Just saying~~~
According to my experience, almost all people like to be invited in a party rather than waiting 3-4 minutes and creating one.
I at first, did some questions on many random people.
"What do you prefer? Solo or Party?"
Turned out that almost 90% said that they like to play with other people, so they want Party.
Next, since I got inspired at this result, I started making some parties. At first I used to spam "LFP Tank Minstrel Dnewt". Almost none invited me. Then I opened a group chat, "LFM Yarde s." Within 3-4 minutes, people statrted joining the group. I told them what formation i wanted. People said their classes, I partied them. Then I played with party happily ever after.
Well, not so happily. I encountered many parties that just is.... kinda bad at doing party killing. So, I went a certain party formation. It worked out great.
It seemed like the demand on getting a party was very very high. Also some "Good" mainstream classes seemed to join it because of the famous thing in 3i. So, I had almost no problem picking any class. I just looked their Lv. and class and if matched the formation I picked him up.
I think it is a great way to make parties. Also I think the Duo videos also shows the usefulness of the partnership of certain classes. It will also help us to form new parties.
So I think these problem solve with :
1) If parties is created if not available. 2) Raising awareness about how to Party-Playing. 3) Duo Videos. Helps alot to make new parties.
Correct me if I'm wrong. And apologies if I am out of topic. o.o

MMO is not just about parties... parties are just one of the many reasons why people play MMO games, so if someone decides to ignore that one reason, that's his own choice.
