Tho Iruna is an MMORPG game ppl keep building soloists characters and the job's roles get corrupted. Servants/Bishop going nail, Paladins trying to achieve high DPS, and so on. I think the whole comunity would enjoy more the game if we all stuck on our chars' roles. I like when ppl experiment and try to play any class with a different build but then those builds become popular and mainstream too fast. For me it is extremely hard to find a pt nowadays (Paladin and Servant).

I am solo player, but I agree with you.
Initially, my reason for making my classes solo type is mainly because of how the current community works. I expected the worse and made countermeasures for it for me to be able to my stuffs.
Still all of my classes can collaborate with PT accordingly
Yes, it should be fun having a Party with different and unsusual classes yet efficient.
But, thats what the current community doesn't have.
I am a solo player, but I'll rather PT with someone if I found the PT intetesting and knows what they do.
I'm doing S400 often lately only to see comments after successfully killing it "Wow an alchemist!"
Huh?? I mean you didn't notice I wasn't doing some Jumper?
For someone who can solo most bosses that is undeniably impressive, but, more impressive is when you collaborate with other classes and do things efficiently, whether its fast or slow pace.
Still, its an open game and anyone can do what they prefered to do so.

Main reason why many player obsessed with soloing because their job is underrated by community today. Today ppl only looking sk, zero, bish, mins (sometimes sin & pally too) for boss battle or sniper, bish, hw, geo, pally for grinding exp.
How about job other than I mention above? Well I could say rarely welcomed in party even they can do good role (poor servant, ench, nail monk, and samu).

I'm guilty of having too many solo characters u.u however, I do have party-reliant characters too, but I don't use them much atm because 1) too weak to be invited to parties, and/or 2) stressful to use in parties. I'm inclined to gear up my solo characters first because of the many toxic players I encountered while lfp/lfm-ing.

I'm solo because i don't really have friends that like to be with me °^°)/ T^T)/ Likewise. Also the implementation of S400/Bancho Muscle made the game more exciting for me as it is long run compare to the fast pace type of bosses. When you get rare its worth it. But, yeah no one cares to PT my BK, Sniper, and alchemist. Unless I've been invited by people who knows how these classes works. Rather than mainstream I prefer to PT a Gladiator, paladin, samurai or BK @s400 but the problem is either the bishop or minstrel will leave the PT after seeing the setup w/o even trying.

this is one of reasons besides non-stop server DC why I stop playing iruna. I'm tired of bad role players, especially most ninjas who completely ignore the need to watch hate bar shifting to them.
most ninjas are ignorant of their tanking capabilities, that their class is not designed to play the role of main tanker that need to keep hate bar on them. they weak to ailments.

what I said above is true if the ninja are that typical 9-clones build ninjas. magic build ninjas probably have less vulnerable to ailments threat.im not sure.
been inactive in iruna for almost 1 years now. any new ninja skills newly come out that favouring magic ninja build? i wonder is there any trend ninjas shifting to magic build?

TBH this thread came from the solitude I feel lately after coming back to Iruna from a year hiatus. The jobs I've played are Monk (my first char), Enchanter, Samurai, Paladin and Servant. At the beginning Iruna was all fun, partying at Skellies to lv up till 50 and get an hihiiro hammer to become the most OP player on Iruna but as the game improved and updated the community became more and more soloist so thats why I made an Enchanter. Got desperate when the crowded market started to overpice every single item in game but I kept doing my best to improve myself. Then the rollback happend and I just left Iruna. About a year later I came back and made a Samu just to test it and liked it but its not a low budget friendly job so I left again. Now I'm back again with my Paladin and my Servant liking my Servant a lot since my nature has always been the support roles and managed to get to lv 221 with decent equipment but here I am stuck again. What's the point implementing support jobs on a game with essentially solo community? Maybe are just bad days for me ingame or idk what else but all I do these days is lfp for hours on grinding spots or grinding solo at High Ents till I fall sleep. Anyway I just wanted to let everyone in my situation know that I would be glad to help em out and pt with em so feel free to call me whenever you need n.n

For me the need to solo is that our community isn't the best and most of the time only a lucky few will get a pt whether it's for grinding exp or mobs for gear or materials to make something since this has been my experience since I'm more of a solo player since I don't really know many people who play and those I do know are mainly solo players themselves or do to time zone differences we are barely on at the same time. As for jobs doing things that aren't normal like bishop going nail or pally doing dps where is it written in stone that a bishop isn't supposed to be a damage class through counter gear or nail or a pally's only job is tank, as the game gets updated new.gear is released where you might have to make a different build than normal to maximize the usefulness of it, and since pally's guardian damage is based on both atk and hp with the new gears of Genius, BOO, Monty beret/up, and myrica wristlet they can reach high hp and atk letting them reach a dps that previously wasn't possible letting them become a damager rather than just absorb hate away from other pt members, as for the nail bishop it's that bishops are one class that can consistently be able to have high max mp for the autoskill of snead claw and pex earring to do high damage since I think the damage is roughly have of your mp.

if I'm iruna developer, I create after-boss battle performance stats/benchmarks that favouring good role-playing that somewhat like 5-star rankings after a every battle as seen on final fantasy 13 (please refer YouTube video below about guide to get 5-star rating on a ff13 fight)
I would make stats like amount of character got K.Oed,amount HP and MP items used, amount of hate bar shift, battle time, etc show up after every boss battle.
I can guarantee if such battle performance stats/benchmarks exist, it would greatly encourages people build their stats suitable to their class role.

Dindn't watched the video but atleast I know what you are referring. Ain't Toram has something like this? Best tanker, damage, and etc. (After each boss kill). Correct me if I'm wrong. That would be good tbh. After kill statistics.

Im a solo player, alone in my lvl 30 guild, can put anything in my guild storage without worrying about other members.
Can change the guild portal however I want.
That's not bad I think, and btw I do have my friend.. my Girlfriend in my guild. We play iruna all the time, we don't compete, we help each other, we explore iruna together, we troll other players together (just kidding). Iruna is fun, but the community sucks. Just FIND a friend that you can get along through the game so you can enjoy it. I don't know how will you do it, but good luck I guess? XD

If Im iruna developer, I will make boss that need different party setup to able fast kill them for example boss that has revival debuff so bishop hard to get party at that boss, or boss that easily ignore hate unless you had tank class (not sk or hw as tanker), or boss that can limit your damage so auto attack class has more adventage.
Honestly I like playing in party to farm boss, but I hate today paradigma that meta party always is the best one (sk zero bish mins) and other job combination is worst (Well meta party isnt always better tho, even I can solo kill grapagos almost as fast as meta party, that means meta party not always is the best one).
