as post states. Im thinking about making a special bow sniper because im already stated that was but q.u abis kinda out my price range atm. Is it possible to effectively play w.out them for now?

Depends on your item delay @ lv.1 Area rain you might be able to shoot 1-2 CF per execution of Area Rain. Otherwise you just focus with normal attacks.

Technically you only need -4 secs of item delay to spam crossfire and items.
Hulam ries reup has 1.4 secs.
Montol colliet reup has 1.5 secs
Meligia has 1 sec
I total that's 3.9 secs with no quick use abi. Not perfect spam but real close. And there are other equips and crystals that can get you that last 0.1 secs. Quick use abi allows u to use better gear and crystals, but u can get by without it for a time.
As a spec bow sniper, most of your dmg is from auto attacking and spamming light green eggs to stay alive. Crossfire is more for elemental bow users. Either build needs 4secs of item delay to be effective.

The speed that you can spam consumable items at, is the speed you can spam CF at. lahunts Cheltil adds 0.5 sec item delay, never use it on sniper. Pixie you need q.u (quick use) abis, not q.c (quick cool). |

This is the same set up I have on my lv 324 sniper except I have hide attack(pet skill). I can solo every mq boss and most event/side bosses. My autos are about 48k on a double, on single I can hit for 30~60k depending on autoskills, and I can get up to 400k arrow rain and 1m+ crossfire with hide attack (which requires 1st hit) . I also have 1250 Eva with self buff Becuase of overclock so I can even evade thrideyes! Just don't use overclock in solo bosses, the recoil will get u killed😜 |

Another al crysta that you can try for item delay is octocur, I think it gives 0.5 sec item delay
