Heal Reward Set, Bandersnatch Set, & Zero Ray Set:
Spellboost Zero Ray & MPC -100% Set:
Spell Boost +40% Matk for a limited time, +100% MP usage, -20% MP when activated. Merchant > Synthesis Capital City Elban
It is impossible to spam more than 1 zero ray with spellboost active. ~ Other High Wizards
Spellboost greatly increases Matk, but the MP Cost hurts. However, it is possible to spam 3 zero rays with Spellboost active. Let me introduce to you, Spellboost Zero. With Spellboost active, my Matk increases up to 10k+. Indeed, I can only spam 1 zero ray. But I managed to figure out how to spam another, and another, with much higher damage than my regular Matk. I will share my equipment along with a scenario:
[with spellboost active] Phrase 1 Universe+9 Dunkelis II Struggler Up+9 Dunkelis II Taenia Beret Dunkelis II Pole Talisman Agira Jarma MP: 10k Spellboost Zero MPC: 6k bandersnatch!! Assault 4-5 seconds zero ray!! MP Left: 4k
switch Phrase 2 Universe+9 Dunkelis II Struggler Up+9 Mezzaluna Taenia Beret Dunkelis II Pole Talisman Agira Jarma MP: 6k Spellboost Zero MPC: 3k zero ray!! MP Left: 3k
switch Phrase 3 Universe +9 Mezzaluna Struggler Up+9 Mezzaluna Taenia Beret Dunkelis II Pole Talisman Agira Jarma MP: 1.2k Spellboost Zero MPC: 702 zero ray!! Recover MP
Sounds confusing without a video to demonstrate it. Explanation: [Keep in mind this is with Spellboost Active] As you can see, Phrase 1 will have the most MP. When switching to Phrase 2, it contains a Mezzaluna in one of the equipment, which decreases MP by -40%. Decreasing your MP will also decrease the Mp Cost of Zero Ray, therefore you can spam another with the remaining MP from Phrase 1. My Phrase 3 has another Mezzaluna implemented, which decreases my MP even more by -80%, which allows me to spam yet another Zero Ray with the remaining MP from Phrase 2. Thus, 3 Zero Rays with Spellboost active has been spammed. This can help kill bosses much faster, either soloing or in pt. Some bosses you can even one shot. The higher the MP, the higher the Zero MPC. The lower the MP, the lower the Zero MPC.
When you activate Spellboost, it will eat MP. You can make all skills, including Spellboost, MPC to 1. Not Zero Ray though, but even if you tried, your dps would be really low lol. This set is just for saving your MP when you activate Spellboost. Every amount of MP matters. Here's my MPC 1 set:
MPC 1 Moonlight ◇Spellboost Shushiwa Armor ReUp Thrift III Ardour Cachenez NS (need a slot soon) Dragonewt Bangle Thrift III
Now I don't have to worry about Spellboost nor the other skills, like Mirage and Grigori, in eating my MP away. In my opinion, it's annoying having to recover MP and wasting HP, and spellboost time. Every second and amount of HP matters as well. This set saves me alotta time. To recover HP and MP faster after using Spellboost Zero, I use my heal set, which you can check out in the High Wizard guide. It self-heals 5k HP, and 5k MP Recharge.
This set is for activating Spellboost, not for spamming Zero Ray. After activating Spellboost, Mirage and Grigori with MPC 1 set, switch back to your Zero Ray Set.
High Wizard is a class of not only aoe, but also to kill the enemy or it kills you. With Spellboost Zero, you have a greater chance of defeating the enemy before it gets your HP to 0. Of course, there's enemies that still require a pt unless you're able to solo 100%. But the dmg from Spellboost will greatly help in defeating the enemy and farming sessions. Also, actions speak louder than words, so hopefully I will be able to demonstrate it for new Zero Ray users who wish for higher dmg and no worries about MPC from Spellboost. I'm open to any opinions about this, and if this isn't necessary, feel free to lock it or take it down. Just thought I'd share that it is possible to use more than 1 Zero Ray with Spellboost, not many know about this.

Moonlight ◇Spellboost Shushiwa Armor ReUp Thrift III Ardour Cachenez NS (need a slot soon) Dragonewt Bangle Thrift III
Your normal matk set will do more dmg without sb than this set with sb '~' Use a set to spam 3 zero -without spellboost- It worth a lot more, and your def/mdef will be reduced by half with sb active

It's not for zero ray. After activating spell boost and the rest with that set, you would switch back to your zero ray set. My normal set deals 500k-560k with 100% spellburst. With 100% spellburst, and Spellboost active, all my spellboost sets hit 700k-780k each hit. It would be close to 1m if I was lv capped, but I'm just lv 311 for now. Also even with the defense lowered, without Spellboost, you're still squishy and fragile. High Wizards aren't 100% tanks, unless using resistance set.

Your first bansdernatch will recover mp from grigori/mirage n sb, (or just use mp set-bansdernatch-switch to matk set- cast zero) High Wizards aren't 100% tanks, unless using resistance set. That was right few months ago, but now we have Super Refinement inplemented. I recomend it instead of resistance set, since theresnot matk penalty from iniliba + =

I have a bander set as well, which recovers my entire mp which makes mp recharge not needed. My bander set makes my MPC 1 too, then switching to zero and spam 3. But I haven't posted about that yet. It's different from all the other bander tricks that others came up with here and on youtube. And with an mp recharge set, your hp depletes more. Recharging mp by 10k+ costs 5k+ of your hp each recharge, and thats not good for glass cannons. That's interesting though. I should try out super refinement. Thanks for sharing the info and your opinions.

mpc set will decrease your mpc only when u equip it, when u change to matk set your mpc will increase 50% again Mp cost set-cast spellboost-change to matk set: Mpc: 7288 Matk set-cast spellboost: Mpc: 7288 Conclusion: a set with -100% mp cost only decrease your mp cost when u equip it / spellboost mpc will change with your current set, and not with set used when u cast sb

Spell Boost crysta is not so compatible when using Zero, the penalty it gives makes you cast only 1 Zero, this is why most hw are set to have uber rod for Bandersnatch set
My Recommend
Bandersnatch Autoskill
Uber Rod Frederico Emido Reup Int+7 Sieger Plate Pole Orichal Ring Jahoel
Abi; Auto 5,4,3, Flueny5, Mp5
Other uses Ressistance with it
Uber Rod Frederico Dmail Iniliba Sieger Iniliba Scholar Ring Iniliba
Abi; Auto 5,4,3,2,1
The reason why Uber Rod is use instead of Spell Boost Crysta is because, they both give the same Matk boost and Uber Rod does not have a penalty of Mpc +100% and Mdef -50% unlike spell boost, the only cons when using Uber is it is an autoskill on def which means, you must be hit first by an enemy atk before it triggers and only lasts for 10 sec.

You are right about that. However, every High Wizard has a different playstyle. While half want Uber Rod, the other half might not because they dont want to get hit. I've wanted to try Uber Rod but I need to make it first, and autoskill is always pricey. You can use more than 1 zero with spellboost active. It's hard to believe when there isn't proof yet, but I'll be getting to it. Thank you for the opinion and sharing about Uber Rod. I'll look into it.

miiku those 2 equips give him 94% physical resistance. Together with Universe (5 def) he has 95% physical resistance (cap). When talking about magic resistance though, I think he's really vulnerable.
