Hi there, so I'm not exactly new to iruna but I don't have everything down quite yet, but the reason for my thread is well. I've got 4 characters now and I like each of them it's just my newest character. I haven't the slightest idea what I want to make him. I have as of right now,
Ninja level 200 (ign JasperB) High Wizard level 140 (ign Nemeki) Wizard level 104 (ign Dylan🐍) And my newest character, Adventurer level 58 (ign KylarB)
And I have no idea what to do with him, I've made a ninja and that was expensive, my cousins got Bishop, Pally, and BK picked out. Honestly I was trying to find something to make him but I've still got no idea what to do. Any suggestions? I have not touched his stats at all yet. And as to what I'm looking for well, I guess a decently cheap class with solo capability, and maybe something I won't have to pair with my ninja. I'm hoping for a quick little auto attacker cause skill spamming build doesn't seem very easy to make in my opinion but any suggestion would be helpful. Possibly a bit of an explanation on the class as well may help though I've been through all the build guides and seen all the skill and I'm not sold maybe having each class separated and explained individually in one place may help.

I'd suggest u get at least one chara to a point where u can fully harness its abilities (like farming, making money, etc) and then focus on developing the rest of ur charas o.o7

By cheap I mean something I can make decent without needing to spend like 600Ms on just Xtals or a couple pieces of gear. From the reading that I've done I gathered that I don't have 1 character that is remotely close to being fully geared because now fully geared is considered having all 2s gear on. I can farm with both my ninja and my high wizard problem is my ninja is basically just for exp grinding and my high wizard is a semi decent item farmer.

Hiya jeffery o.o/. First lemme confirm this: you want an auto-attack type class that can solo decently with cheap gears. Did I get that right? Then again, what do you want to solo? Bosses? Mobs? Of course skill spammers and AoE classes are best for mobs, so I'm assuming you want to solo bosses.
The class that fits that description well is the Ninja class actually. Starter pack includes a Schwartz, Ghost Ring, Curse Nail and a Magical Ring to switch with Seahorse Bangle. That costs like what, around 2m? Slot everything with Sharpness I xtals (uncommon from Harpy in Dragonlord Isle) and poof! You have a solo auto attacker class with ultra cheap gears.
I just want to point out that all classes are pretty darn expensive. The difference is a) how much you should spend to make the class effective and b) how effective the class is when it's fully equipped. Comparing Ninjas with Samurais, a Fully Equipped (F.E.) auto attack Ninja would lose big time to a F.E. auto attack Samurai in terms of damage, soloing and tanking capability.
Well anyway, I'll recommend some (not in any order) and I'll let you decide:
1) Claw Monk Party Role: Damager/Barrier Piercer/Support - A great solo class with the right build. Usually built for melee autoskills but raw damage is pretty good too. Best against bosses with high DEF because of their passive Shell Break. The higher the DEF, the higher the damage.
2) Samurai Party Role: Damager/Tank/OHKO'er - It's usually recommended to change to this class at Lv240+, but the level requirement is only Lv100. Deals effin awesome critical damage and can be built for melee autoskill too. Their skills deal high damage based on critical damage and can even One Hit K.O. (OHKO) some bosses.
3) Gladiator Party Role: Damager/Tank - Honestly I look at Gladiators the same way I look at Samurais. Some differences include: a) Gladiators have better sustainability and b) when comparing skill damage, Samurai > Gladiator.
4) Enchanter Party Role: Damager/Tank/Support - This class has a wide variety of builds and a majority of it is built to auto attack. Autoskills are skills that activate when you attack, defend or evade, usually without costing MP. Most autoskill Enchanters deal damage with magic autoskills that activate by attacking.
Why I recommended these classes: 1) They have good guides 2) They're old classes with a lot of users so finding a someone to ask about the class should be easy 3) They're simple to use 4) They can be effective for solo and party play with cheap gears (depends on boss)
I hope this helped o.o/

I hope this helped o.o/ Wow yeah you did guess right for the most part I was actually looking at monk for a while just wasn't sure how I would manage it very well my level 200 ninja is geared to do 9 clones already and making a new one would just take me forever and my level 104 wizard I plan to make an enchanter so I've got that covered. Now as to your recommendations of all of them monk would probably be more for me but I don't believe they have an aoe cause I was sort of looking for a class that'd be technically best for solo mobs but could handle its own for bosses if needed. I've been going back and forth between Monk and Sniper my issue with sniper is that it's most likely going to need to be set in a party where as Monk seems it could handle itself without need of me to have to run back and forth with it to keep him alive. But thank you for all the information I'll have to take an it if a deeper look into a build for monk before I make the final decision.

jeffery Monks have 2 AoE: Lion's Roar and Geo Breaker. Lion's Roar is MATK based but it seems no Monk ever geared specifically for it. Geo Breaker is a party AoE, which means it'll only hit mobs that your party has aggro with. The usual pattern here is Lion's Roar (to attract mobs) then hit em with Geo Breaker.
'Holding one's own against bosses' does not apply to Snipers cuz they're squishy (there are boss solo videos of the class tho) so I didn't recommend it.

That's interesting I didn't know geo was an aoe that might explain why everyone is always looking for a geo monk well at least was. xD I need to brush up on skill sets and abilities. Thank you very much ewp

From your information, I guess I recommend enchanter because your cousins part. Your cousins plays supporter, tanker, and half-damaging class. They still need mp healer position. Enchanter can work on that role, help tanker on stone skill, and make BK more powerful with elemental buff. Enchanter is also able to solo many bosses. However, without your cousins part, claw monk should be the best. You can play geo monk as a damager for your cousins party, but geo is not for soloing. Why dont you keep playing ninja like @ewpeople said? Get rich from ninja then you can play any class.

Anyways I'm right now looking for a stat build for a claw monk that'll be decent enough that he could solo if needed but could also be a good party member.

Ninjas get rich because they are constantly farming bosses for xtals/gear/ and ais and I'm guessing you dont farm much dont worry most people dont farm much either

I usually exp farm for my other characters to level my apost skills but now that I know about the new ninja skills I've stopped that xD

All Job (well not all though) are expensive if you looking for the best, there's no such thing as cheap and not to mention you looking for solo capabilities. Even bish needs such a high matk geared and cool down and or counter set for soloing otherwise it's hard and even impossible to farm high lv boss. A ninja can be cheap (just Schwartz ganei and g ring ganei and koda had you good to go) but it would take effort to kill the latest bosses with those set. And then again for the best there's No such thing as cheap, all are expensive. Unless if your question is the cheapest gear for a job can get without worrying any effort the answer is 1 : Minstrel 😂 As a minstrel you don't need to worry about gear, 90% of the time people need them, and you can form a pt for mq because people doesn't really mind with mins. Then why mins? 1 Cheap, you don't need any expensive gear, even adventurer garb and hachigane are good to go but recommended looking for quick delay 2 Fast Level, you don't need to worrying about your crap gear and xtal because when leveling, form a pt, all you need to do is just singing and let the dmger does their job 3 Boss Farming, since the singer are flexible they can farm with anyone and farming boss is no problem, just from a pt So being a mins is really cheap and fast lv and easy farm boss anything else? Well unless you looking for a solo capable mins it would be a little different story because it's a bit expensive though still at cheaper category than other job P.S : OMG, seriously? You listen to all of that? 😂 LoL don't trust it mins are a Leecher all they do just singing and get the xp and get the rare 😏 not bad The Power of Mins (~*o*)~
