Oh lol I do use a lot of those XD except rofl I guess lmao. Okay I'm sorry didn't mean to offend qwq.
Anyway, I dun see this as a 'dreadful' problem but it does get annoying. And yes, I'm fully aware that this is a joke thread since OP said so XD.

These terms aren't annoying unless someone over/misuses some of them.
There's actually some people who reply to a simple hello with a 'lol hi' and its like they essentially start to use that 'lol' every time they have nothing else to say. Imagine, irl, if those expressions were true then if you met someone you know and says hello, you'll crazily laugh out loud before saying hi which is just freaking ridiculous OTL.
well, sometimes in some funny conversations that requires a 'lol' in it, you should try lolwkasf. Laughing Out Loud While Keeping a Straight Face. that's reality btw

but sometimes, without these abbreviations used when talking with someone, I feel like our conversations are too serious which makes me feel awkward :v yea..
And maybe that's one of the reasons why people are always using those words.

So... I see, you are basically saying the problem with Iruna is : people. Well, I'll agree with you on that one and raise you: that's the problem with the world in general and the internet in particular. But there's not much we can do about it other than wait for people to grow up and behave better. And sometimes that never happens. But I don't see how this thread is relevant to iruna in any way other than iruna is part of the internet and you have to deal with annoying people. lacs, can you move it to the chit-chat board? Or lock if no one has anything more to add. I'm far from the pc at the moment and can't do those things with my phone

English speakers problems...sigh people like to abbreviate everything actually, i started to play MMO on Mexican servers, so, we also used abbreviations, pj (personaje, character), tp (teletransporte, teleport), gp (grupo, party) there's also a lot of swear words, but I'm NOT going to explain that, also, on that game, the word lol was used as a way to make fun of people, like, humiliate em, some people don't know English so they were just offended instead of knowing what that meant... so yeah, lazy people
