Ew's Poor Man Tactics: CF Sniper
So I recently made a DEX STR CRT sniper and the damage is just <3. It's pretty awesome spamming 30k+ Arrow Rain every second at Lv200~ish only using Wizaleon xtals. Not only that, their Sniping skill ignores the enemies' defenses.
With my build, I know I was bound to die a whole lot. Here are some stuff I thought of to make it easier to run past aggressive mobs and make solo MQs and grinding easier to deal with, mostly based on my experience. I will only put stuff that are either pretty cheap to buy or easy to get/upgrade. The definition of 'cheap' in Iruna varies from person to person, so this is my version of cheap XD.
Oh and I am taking suggestions and if something's worth adding you'll see it here with your name beside the suggestion/s.
While Doing MQ
Running through aggressive mobs as a sniper is... So darn hard @-@. And unless you can 1-2 shot solo MQ mobs, you might be in trouble. Having pets is an absolute must o.o
{SPOILER: Click to show
}
El Avenir (Avenir last up)
- This is a normal sword that adds 3k HP. This is useful when moving past aggressive mobs. Why a sword tho? Other than pairing it with Myrica Wristlet at Lv200 XD.
Earthshaker Briareus (Titan's Bow last up)
- Useful for solo MQs because of the additional 1.5k HP and well, it's a bow XD. Mind the elemental advantage/disadvantage when using this bow o.o/
Le Feu+
- Some VIT for DEF and HP and -1sec item delay which helps to spam pots o.o/ you can get this from Raid 160 (Sand Dragon Zant)
Hulam Ries (Strengthened 2)
- I personally use this armor on my damage set too because I'm poor qwq. It's pretty easy to upgrade from Hulam Brut (around 2m slotted), for me at least. Has -1.4 sec item delay for potion spam which aids in survival and 2k HP. Iron Armor last up should give 2x more HP, but the item delay is worth it.
Monty Beret
- Now this is definitely part of my damage set, but it fits right in my survival set too because of the -1 sec skill delay and +25% item recovery. With this add gear, Revita XL heals me for 2.5k instead of 2k. It makes a lot of difference.
Ring of Tide
- This spec is perfect for snipers because it gives you 2k HP if you're from the Warrior branch (I haven't tried it on Special Classes yet).
Myrica Wristlet
- This spec gives VIT equal to 50% of your level, but only if you're wielding a sword, perfect with El Avenir. VIT gives roughly 20 HP per point and DEF/MDEF.
Seven Mile Boots (Shichiri Boots in some sites)
- This spec gives you +7% Movement Speed. It is a risky spec to use, but it's useful in some situations when you can't outrun a mob trying to murder you.
Cursed Bangle
- This spec switches your HP and MP percentages by chance when your HP falls below 50%. Very risky to use as it doesn't trigger when hit by magic (I tried it on my enchy against Shojo. Not even a single trigger 'til the end of the fight @-@).
⭐️HP
- Farm Ferzen and Blaiard for HP on armor and sword, join Raid 140 for HP on add (Bongea) and Raid 160 for HP on bow (Sand Dragon Zant). It's pretty easy to get and it aids a lot with survival. Suppose you got a Lv5 on armor, Lv4 on bow, Lv3 and 2 on add, that gives you 2,520 HP. Every HP counts for a sniper trying to survive @-@.
⭐️Quick Use
- Aye, ya'll heard me right, tho this might be a bit costly. Getting some Lv1 Quick Use abilities will not only help dish out better DPS in later levels, but also with survival. The item delay is awesome for spamming potions. No need to worry about the -item recovery because the Monty Beret will cancel the effects of five Lv1 QU abilities. Hurray for Revita XL spam o.o/
♦️MaxHP +700/+400/+20%
- Yeah. HP. Any xtal with HP is good XD.
♦️Lipka
- This xtal gives +3% ATK and +5% MaxHP, a balance of damage and survival which is awesome for MQ solos. Join Raid 100 for this xtal.
🔺HP+200/+400
- Al xtals that add HP o.o/
Red Line Apostolia
- Because Red Lines add HP and DEF. Use as much as you need o.o/ but two lines are enough for me.
Octopus Tentacles
- No, this will not strangle Selee Zauga or Enina. It's a consumable that gives +12% MaxHP (I think) for 10 minutes.
Mousse
- This is a consumable that gives -0.4 sec item delay. (Order from Dragsbro XD).
Regera L
- This item heals 300 HP every few seconds for a minute. People usually discard this when they get it from raids, so lower down your pride and 'ask nicely' for em in raid groups XD
Beef
- Your char might get hungry, so feed him/her some Beef o.o/ heals you for 2k HP like Revita XL, but has a slight chance of poisoning you. Then again you have a skill for that pfft :3. What makes it better than Revita XL is that Beef is easier to farm from Besyak than the Revita from Donkeyheads in my experience. It's just preference I guess o.o. The mob also drops 🔺HP+200
Pork (Royal Thief 's suggestion)
- Aight, something like Beef, but blind instead of poison. If you plan on farming this you might wanna get some levels first but hey, if the drop rate is better why not o.o? Drops from High Orcs right after Sauro Village otw to Leviam. Also drops from Vaton in the City of Artificial Humans SQ map (Maze of Umberto).
Jelly Steak
- You got tired of eating Beef and Pork, so you turned em into steak. Jelly Steak heals you equal to your level every 2 seconds for a minute. Great if you don't like spamming pots while running away from a mob. Has the same buff name as Regera L and Bless so they will cancel each other. This is not affected by +-item recovery. Use wisely o.o

El Avenir (Avenir last up)
- This is a normal sword that adds 3k HP. This is useful when moving past aggressive mobs. Why a sword tho? Other than pairing it with Myrica Wristlet at Lv200 XD.
{SPOILER: Click to show}Because I noticed that when an aggressive mob attacks you, your character's reaction is different depending on your weapon/ASPD. With a lot of ASPD, your char will attack/go towards the mob every time the mob hits you. If you're using a ranged weapon, your character will stop to attack/go towards the mob. But with a short ranged weapon without much ASPD, your char might stop/go towards the mob for a bit but as long as you're making your char move it will go back to where you want it to move but most of the time, your char will probably just ignore it.

While Grinding
My sniper has no INT, which means I have a frustratingly low amount of MP to spam Arrow Rain. With ASPD gears, I relied a lot less on MP and a Cleric was more useful to me than a Wizard (I can tank a Megaroche with a Cleric o.o/). At Lv240 when you get your main AoE, your MP Cost will be a lot lower (tho my sniper isn't even Lv220 yet XD)
{SPOILER: Click to show}
Click spoiler below for a Pro Tip *^*
Blitz+ (Rapid Fire last up)
- This bow gives +100% ASPD and some VIT. This means you can auto attack dem mobs and save MP. Below Lv180 this is useful against low HP mobs. At Lv180 when you get Freeze Arrow, you can solo any high HP mob you can think of except Yarde (they're ranged @-@). 1) Freeze Arrow -> 2) move a little -> 3) hit 5 times -> repeat 2 and 3 until you hit the target 15-20 times then back to 1 -> repeat until mob dies o.o/ only downside of this bow is that its ATK value is very low (mine is 99 ATK qwq) but I'm still hitting 7-9k CRT damage and 12-14k Double Attacks. I say that's pretty good o.o/
Symbios Bow (Royal Thief /Dragsbro 's suggestion)
- Now for poor men like us this bow might be a little too pricey, but it helps with grinding a lot because of the -MP Cost. An alternative bow to use is Moonlight, but the ATK is around 100 points lower but hey, it's cheaper XD.
Dragon Paler/Techne
- This is a good elemental bow, but since I can't solo Yardes via auto attack, I use this bow for MP regen. With my MP regen set, just a few seconds of sitting is enough to fill my nonexistent MP qwq.
Mage Garb
- Yes, good ol' Mage Garb for MP regen. 50% MP regen FTW o.o/
Scarlet Ribbon
- This add gives +100% ASPD but the lower the AGI, the lower your accuracy and critical rate becomes. This is only usable when you have 200+ DEX until you have enough CRT stat to switch to Blitz+, that or don't use this add at all XD. Still useful o.o/ just confirming that with no AGI, getting 100% ASPD won't make you reach max ASPD, but you'll be darn close to it
Carol (Royal Thief 's suggestion)
- If you're spamming Arrow Rain for grinding, the -critical damage from this add is something you can ignore. It's a great add for -MP Cost. It's a trade x add that you can get from Raid Box B in Raids 160 and 180. An alternative add is Gluck but it has +1 sec item delay.
Rebellion Mask (Strengthened 1)
- No up has +50 flat MP regen (this is more than my current base MP regen amount) and up is double that. It's the best MP regen add I know o.o/
Archer Gloves
- This spec gives +10% ASPD on top of a 0.9 increase in ATK per point on DEX. Definitely lower ATK bonus compared to Thimble or Adamantite Arrow, but if you need the extra ASPD it is worth it.
Rustling Leaf Earring
- This spec gives +50% MP regen, like Mage Garb o.o/
⭐️Wild Dance
- This ability adds 10% ASPD in all ability levels but the -critical rate decreases per ability level. Use when you have nearly max CRT or with purple apostolia lines.
⭐️Regenerate
- More MP regen *drool* also HP regen. This affects Bless o.o/
⭐️MP Cost
- Less MP Cost = more skills to spam o.o/
⭐️Pharmacy
- This ability adds 2% item recovery per ability Lv. At Lv5, this gives 10% item recovery, which means Salt would heal you for 330 instead of 300 MP. This won't work with some items like Coconuts and Jelly Steak. You can get this on add in Raid 140 (Bongea).
♦️MP Regen +5
- Cheap xtal even in stalls. Helps with MP regen a bit.
♦️Wizaleon
- ATK+5% and MP Cost -5%. A good starting xtal and also for casting more skills. Do Raid 120 or farm Wizaleon himself for this xtal o.o/
♦️Thrift III
- This xtal reduces your MP Cost by 15%. Stalls might have some of these but you won't like the price. Farm these from Demone instead once you get the Sniping skill. The mob also drops Jelly Steak o.o/
♦️Medical III
- Let's say you spam Salt too much, try using some of these. This xtal adds 20% item recovery. 4 of these xtals will make Salt heal 540 MP instead of 300. Useful as heck o.o/ but it doesn't work with some items like Coconuts and Jelly Steak.
♦️INT+7
- INT from gears and xtals give more MP than INT from stats. You can expect a ton of MP from this badboy. This costs less than 1m in stalls o.o/
🔺MP Cost -3%/-6%
- Al xtals that help reduce MP Cost o.o/
🔺MP Recovery +3%/+6%
- Al xtals that help with MP regeneration (which means less time sitting o.o/)
🔺Barbad
- This al xtal increases your range, which means you can attack from even further away and out of danger. Also handy while doing MQ.
Purple Lines Apostolia
- Purple lines give ASPD and critical rate as well as some autoskill trigger rate.
Blue Lines Apostolia
- Blue lines give MP regen. Less sitting time = more killing
Sorrowful Eye
- A consumable that drops your MP Cost by 20% o.o
Coconut
- Don't let your char get dehydrated! Coconuts heal 30 + 10% of your level every 3 seconds for 1 minute. This heals a lot of MP and stacks with Bless o.o/ best part is that it's a common drop, which means this will be pretty cheap when you order farm service for it. This is not affected by +-item recovery.

{Pro Tip Here}
What do I mean by that? On certain grinding spots tho random there are always safe spot where they spawn near you (rarely or not at all). for example Neknotts near the slope of exit nothing spawns there often
whats the advantage of it? It lets you to dish out your max dmg for Arrow Rain through distance
(Arrow rain damage deals more the longer the distance between you and your target plus the number of hits)
and to give you a time to kite whenever the AR did some less hits and didnt kill your target in one shot
this is really effective for stationary grinders (Those type of people who dont move often and just tapping AR)
I am referring this to someone who dont have hide attack tho I have hide attack to start with I did this strategy as a lv.70 Hunter (3weeks ago) I need 2shot neknotts sometimes 1shot.
lv.297 CF Sniper here.

{Click here to view how much ASPD you need to reach max}
So I played with the formula on this thread and got this:
AT = (MA - AN + AS + AC + AG) / 120
Where:
AT = ASPD% needed to reach max
MA = Max AGI needed to reach max (168 for bow)
AN = AGI from stats (1 for this build)
AS = AGI from gears and skills and stuff (+24 from Evasion Lv2 skill)
AC = AGI from class corrections (+9 AGI for Snipers)
AG = AGI from Guild level (Lv20+ = all stats +1, Lv40+ = +2, Lv60+ = +3)
Let's just say you don't belong to any guild. Substituting the values on the formula, we get:
AT = (168 - 1 + 24 + 9 + 0) / 120
AT = 1.67
So we still need 167% ASPD to reach max. Now we put in Blitz+ (+100%), 6 Purple Lines (+30%), and Sense skill (+10%)
AT = 167% - 100% - 30% - 10%
AT = 27%
Just 27% more ASPD 'til max owo. We can add 3 Wild Dance abilities and we're set *^*
