Any good new gear for paladin? In this aniversary event? Black plate armor: Black plate (enhanced version) [body] DEF: 20-23 INT + 6 MP consumption -8% rate relief + 10% magic resistance + 9% during the defense, damage mitigation available in probability: guild raid against lottery strengthening sale price: Remarks: DEF = black plate numbers +4 fixed You can get it from doing the lottery by doing the lv 100 raid at the anniversary. The lottery for that has it requires lv 2 tickets so lv 100 raid is the only way

They have different applications/purpose so determining which is better can be subjective. I use Licht for the delay.

Or there are others better for pally, idk if I should loot one It's a magic sword so if you are max INT pally then it's good to have, but that's just because you are trying to get more ATK. Most would opt for special swords because they usually have defensive stats in them which helps in tanking.

Which is the better weapon izu or w.transfer? It depends, wound transer gives 15% hp while izu gives 10%. I'd pick wound imo, plus wound's cheaper than izu

It gives +20% hp and has a hidden delay effect... im a 270 paladin and have tried most swords and have not found one to compare to the damage and hp that the d roar gives.

I have compared same mobs same buffs I haven't rushed to get lv cap I am not the best cause idk anymore than the next I got no help from any pallidin iv had to learn the hard way of trial and error every time iv ever ran into any pally higher lv than me and I asked advice they either gave me misleading info that mostly been bad or will not even talk to me iv spent years not months to find out what I know and still learning with no one to compair to or guide me iv blindly have found my way with trying every piece of equipment I can ever get my hands on and comparing what works best for me well I can agree there are not many pally in the game esp ones to help with anything. I have been working on mine since beta I am level cap and have tried as much equip as possible including equip for enchanter, hw, glady etc. You never mentioned your build? Mine is Vit 380 int 300 dex 257. My hits are max around 22k but I am for highest hp and def and mdef I also spam super fast like when hit action finishes im hitting again. My set is Dragon Roar S - +20% hp Licht S - +20% Hp Idealsol S/Brave Shield S - +20% Hp Wisdom earing - +20% hp With that set im probably sitting with +120% hp... quite amazing, I just hit close to 200k hp with buffs today, Raton 2 is only mq boss I can not beat solo. If you see me on game my name is Bohant and im more then happy to show you my equip or help you... im no pro but I can say ive made some ninja's feel jealous with how op I am. Feel free to give me your opinion.

The only downside I see from using non-sword weapons is that you don't get extra parry bonus per JP wiki (both rate and mitigation amount). I still haven't tried to test and quantify it though. But yes, it may or may not be that significant since Pallys are naturally beefy anyway. So D.Roar is ok I guess. Best weapons will depend on your build as well. If you are VIT/DEX/STR you'd do around 30k+ guardian easily with special sword and would probably deal less than 20k if you try to use throw weapons since you don't have INT. Or in another sense, a VIT/INT/STR will do more damage than VIT/INT/DEX with throwing sword and vice versa on a magic sword.

I was using D.Roar sometimes way back, I just ended selling it and switching back to Wound Transer...

Feel free to give me your opinion. You don't have to look for Pallys in game to get information about Pallys. I learned alot from this forum in as much I have shared what I know in this forum. Raton isn't really a hard boss. Just get a montol colliet, 2 quick use abilities and a saltus up and you can kill him by spamming Onigiris. If you want it to be easier, use some squid/octopus tentacles to counter the negative maxHP buff . Also, get a Douin xtal. This will help get you to 200kHP, but I think you will need more gears to really get there. I have: Katz 2s HP20 HP20 -(HPLv4) Idealsol - HP20 -(VITLv5) Saltus Up - HP20 - (HPLv5) KGS Douin -(VITLv4) And this just lands me exactly around 200kHP with all self buffs with 391VIT. If one of my VIT or HP abilities drop 1 level I would be 199kHP, so I'm just barely there.
