This is not MY guide, this is an HW all in one guide that I created, completed and updated
First of all, let me introduce myself : My IGN is caporal and i'm a lvl 352 High Wizard who love this class. I am hybrid VIT and CRT.
I noticed that there isn't a real complete all in one guide for high wizard so I decided to create one. Most of the informations come from others great players but I helped a lot. I am online everyday on this forums so i can keep it up to date so feel free to share your tips
As you may noticed, english isn't my main language, and I'm asking you to not judge this guide on this or criticize it if you find grammar mistakes, but you can help me with them in private. I'll do my best, thanks for reading.

Like Enchanters, they can heal MP, and finding a party for farming isn't hard.

INT>DEX>VIT +BL / GL
The most common HW build. INT for MATK and MDEF, DEX for decreased skill delay and casting speed, and VIT is for the Melee DEF.
This build is beneficent for those who wants to be able to solo bosses. You can pretty much say that you become a strong attacking tank.
INT>DEX>CRT +BL / GL
This build will not be efficient until you get a skill called Spell Burst at lvl 180. The skill is CRT dependent, the higher your CRT stat is, the higher probability of it activating. INT for MATK and MDEF, DEX for decreased skill delay and casting speed, CRT for improved trigger rate.
INT>DEX>AGI
The AGI stat will be helpful only for those who wants to rely on magic amplifiers (sloted). Magic amplifiers will increase your MATK and it's a drop from; Snowman - (Kilmly Highlands).
*Note* - MATK will only increase if a staff/rod is being used.
Int for MATK and MDEF, DEX for decreased skill delay and casting speed, and AGI for evasion and attack speed.
INT>DEX>VIT>CRT +BL / GL
This build focuses in both having a higher chance of using Spell Burst and attain much HP. caporal also says that he's going to focus his Apostalia on increasing his VIT.
Int for MATK and MDEF, DEX for decreased skill delay and casting speed.
This is the build i'm using, I really like it. I have 225 VIT, so around 19k hp, pretty nice for solo, and 125 CRT , it adds 52.5% base spell burst rate (without counting spell burst rate on equipment). My equipments give +14% spell burst rate, so I have 66.5% rate of spell burst, and it's like having 2/3 chance to do 150% damage for each hit.

High Wizards use mostly elemental skill. To have the advantage of the element, you need to learn Iruna elements logic, because it's not the same as Pokemon or maybe other RPGs.

{} Imperial Ray is an amazing Aoe damage skill. The cast time is long , but it's worth the waiting. It can deal damage with the element you want (fire - water - wind - earth) . All you have to do is to cast a "great magic" skill just before imperial, and imperial will become the same element as the skill used before. For example if you cast Imperial after Earthquake, it will deal Earth element damage because earthquake is Earth element. However, imperial will deal huge damage only if you counter the ennemy element. For example , Chako are fire element, if you want to deal huge damage with Imperial Ray, you have to cast Blizzard before and then Imperial Ray on them, which will become Imperial Freeze because blizzard is water element (opposite of fire element)

{} Mana stock is good to break boss shields like moldus, magonza, mezzaluna... To breaks their shield you have to cast mana stock until 3/3 and then use a "Great Magic" skill such as blizzard, thor hammer, meteor storm , earthquake. The "stock" will stay until you use a great magic skill. Even if you die before using one, it will stay after resurrection. However, it work for only 1 hit with a great magic skill, and you'll have to stock 3 times if the shield isn't completely pierced.

Once you get the assault buff, you neutral damage get a huge boost, that why. You can also use this skill to regen your mp but personally I prefere Mana recharge.

Level 1 - Lv 300 required
{} Zero Ray will deal huge damage ONLY if you have "assault" buff. To get this buff you need to cast Bandersnatch before, it will give the "assault" buff for 5 seconds. In this 5 seconds you can spam zero ray , but as it cost 40% of your maxMP you can only spam it 2-3 times (4 times if you have a minstrel with dream song and wisdom song) . However, Bandersnatch have a sucess rate of "assault" trigger of only 33% . That's why you need to cast Grigori first, it will up the success rate of Bandersnatch ( >> 80% now) .
To sum up , you have to do this combo : Grigori > Bandersnatch > Zero Ray (2-3x)

The quest demands 10 Dirty Gear and for every time you complete the quest you get 760k experience. If you saved the Dirty Gear from lvl 200 to 240, this quest will give you around 5-10 level bonus without any effort.

They are water element, so for best damage, use thor hammer and imperial thunder

- Baum Warriors
Parties want lvl 240+ HW's because of a skill called Imperial Fire (200-300k damage) available at lvl 240. However, if there is already a strong high level HW in a party you can still be of good use and amass three targets with a little help of earthquake.
