Figured I should ask here instead of making a new thread. Anyone mind sharing their list of favorite romance animes o.o? Been watching too many action lately and I need a change of pace XD.
Edit: I'll take any genre with romance except romance/action (romance/comedy, romance/drama, romance/horror, romance/ecchi, romance/seinen, etc.). Curently watching Working (Wagnaria) I realize that this is an old post, but I feel the same because I've been watching way too many action/adventure anime (my whole life). I wanted a change, so I binge watched. I can recommend these 2 if you're still looking for romance + something else. Hotarubi no mori e (To The Forest of Firefly Lights) - Romance/Drama/Slice of Life/Supernatural Kimi no Na wa (Your Name) - Romance/Drama/Supernatural The first one is a short little movie of 44 mins or so. Second is about 2 hours I think. I was recommending my bf some movies to watch, and thought of a post here about romance anime. Masou Gakuen HxH, the most romantic I've seen in a long time -.-

Absolutely loving the series Drifters. This series is like pure testosterone on pure adrenaline on that stuff released when dreaming (and at the time of death) and with a top of of the first 2 meets solid crash course classroom in history for those uninitiated to the world's of some chars shown in the series as well as a different at some of those historical figures we would remember as kind and compassionate, yet due to their circumstances, seek to destroy mankind (can I join you 0.0)

I'm so bad for l8 replies >_< Umm first... myanimelist.net/anime/32686/KeijoNow as some background I suppose. When I first saw the preview for this show I thought of course "wtf Japan -_-" just seemed like yet another 12 ep string of ecchi fan service crap, like, girls using their toys and asses to fight each other? Are you sitting me?!? So of course I had no attraction to the show and no desire to watch it... Until I was bored asf and didn't know wot to watch so just decided to check a few eps to confirm it was as bad as I thought it was... And omfg was I ever wrong! This show is 1 of those cases imo that truly shows you can never judge a book by its cover. Much of what is displayed in the "sport" approaches near supernatural feats that require 1 to simply turn their brain off as logic just simply doesn't apply. There are moments as hype builds up through the show and in the commentary of the fights that just totally drag you into it to cheer for your fav char. And immediately be blown away to a state of rofl with some of the ridiculous antics and not to mention the way out there names of skills employed by each char. There is a broad range of chars through this show that regardless of so few eps get enough exposure for us to get a feel for their personalities which are all quirky and unique. If you are a seasoned anime watcher you will also appreciate a number of parodies shown through the series (prepare for Unlimited Booty Works ) I entered this with a good degree of scepticism and am now after each episode waiting for the week to pass to see the next. Ik others may say otherwise, but personally I would name this as 1 of the highlights of what has so far otherwise been quite the dismal season.
