Hello All! There are a growing number of classes that have to really gear for autoskills. Currently these classes will most likely gear for it:
Enchanter(Obviously)
Monk
Ninja
Samurai
And Servants and Bishops like Autoskill counters
There are a few autoskills that act differently from the rest, they don't take autoskill rate into account at all:
These go by the CRT stat to determine their rate(these are NOT affected by Autoskill Rate %):
Double Attack: Warrior's Skill. This increases your auto attack damage randomly. Lvl 1 is 110%, Lvl 5 is 200%
Spell Burst: High Wizard Skill. Also from Equips. This affects ANY Magic Attack, even Autoskills. This is damage x1.25. However it seems to me that it ignores MDEF as well(need this confirmed) which is why it is so effective with Auto Enchanters as they get absolutely screwed by MDEF.
Bite: Beast Knight This is basically an upgrade to Double Attack and adds an HP absorption effect
Paralyze: Sniper Skill. Similar to Double Attack in that it increases damage. It however is applied to skills and causes a Paralysis effect by chance
Double Backstab: Assassin Skill. Doubles the damage of Backstab. It is based off of Double Attack's rate.
So those are all of the Pseudo Autoskills that just go by the CRT stat. On to the ones that actually have more complicated mechanics!
Here are the Autoskills that come from skills:
Twice Attack(idk skill name). Ninjas have this. It's the same thing as WoL although it may have a higher rate of activating. This actually counts as if it's an autoskill on your weapon! So don't use a weapon with an autoskill on it or an xtal with one on it either. This is why Ninjas shouldn't use things like Testament, Sion Capell, or Maniji.
Shell Break. Monks wheee. This one is kind of odd as it boosts your actual attacks damage and can actually activate on Geo Breaker! This does more damage if a mob has more defense, it's basically double damage on Bosses. Does large amounts against barriers. This actually can be activated on ANY physical attack if you have access to it(Yellow Candy) including the melee portion of Magic Blade) It's a REALLY good autoskill.
Enchant Weapon. Enchanter buff. This can be used on anyone and doesn't affect their autoskills. It's fun to have an armor of Claw users throwing out magic attacks and Paralyzing and Stunning bosses. This does Fire Lance, Ice Spear, Thunderbolt(causes Paralyze), and Earth Pike(causes stun and ignores 50% of MDEF)
Outside of these skills you can get autoskills from equipment as well, this includes Crystals. As stated previously you don't want any autoskills on your weapon as a Ninja. The Majority of Autoskill xtals "Consume Autoskill". This means if you equip it on a piece of equipment with an Autoskill currently on it then it will disappear. This is usually bad. Provoke Auto is the only xtal that does not Consume Autoskill and can be used anywhere with no penalty. It is however usually unnecessary to have nowadays.
The only way to increase the "real" autoskills rate is to get gear that increases autoskill rate or get the Draw buff from an Enchanter. Enchanters also have the Limit Break skill which can increase their autoskill rate more than Draw does but it overrides that buff.
