Theres a lot of players just assuming that every enchanter is just limited to a magic sword, which is not the case. Magic knife is useful too. Ill just explain witch knife.
Specific Use of Witch Knife:
Int/Agi/Dex or Int/Dex/Agi
Pros:
Same damage and matk boost from INT as a magic sword Drain is faster MATK boost from AGI (Magic Amp) Additional Physical Attack by chance, Proc rate is higher than dia's mana wave proc rate.
Cons:
Slightly slower auto attack No ATK boost from DEX No ATK damage to dark mobs
In conclusion, Witch knife is better if your relying on the autoskill casts to beat your opponents. The casts will deal a lot more damage. You also dont have to leave yourself open to long when using drain. Its also easier to switch roles to casting if needed, which is great for enchanters under level 140.

Yes....and i said it sucks...you sugarcoat your ideas like crazy...I have used it back when i was lower lvl....Its cons outweigh the pros....it wouldn't reccomend it to anyone...Resty rod seems pretty cool but i thought it only activates when u recive dmg....

resty triggers when you get hit, that's why i call it the afk weapon since you basically use it to boost your magic dps at mobs that mostly use magic attacks., i'd say you can disregard dia espada since your magic damage will compensate or maybe do even more

I have tried Witch Knife too and it was awful compared to Dia. The casting thing may be useful at times but I would prefer to use a different staff and just keep my distance if I'm spending tons of time casting. Also a lot of Enchanters use Flabellum which is better in almost every way to Witch Knife, except for slower casting on TBolt(this and drain are the only spells I can see anyone casting and drain is still fast with throwing) and the use of Magic Amp.
This may be a viable option for people who have no MATK crystals but once they get those it will get way out damaged, especially if they manage to get Slot Lotus Seeds/Reduce Bangle. They could get Magic Amp slot too but that will be way more difficult most likely.

From 120-140 i used: Dia espada (bossheit) Dpr UP (bossheit) Eppaulte (FG) And Old reliable (s.bangle Lol)
No problems at all on Int > Agi > dex build

i never see anybody with flabellum & dia espada deals anything impressive. honestly. i'm with Tilt. some people be like "ewww a cane?" but im using amulet+ once and my trigger rate is stable, my damage is okay (3k melee, 6-7k magic w/o spellboost). and that's not even a magic rod like witch knife.

Again, if you are relying on the AUTOCAST then the staff would be better hands down. And magic amp doesnt work with throwing or magic sword, only with staff. ...
Posting what you used from 120-140 and saying you ddnt have a prob doesnt mean it was good. It would almost be a waste of time to play as enchantet before 140 because of poor autocast rates, lack of defense and damage.
pretty much all im hearing is the melee cons, which is something already mentioned.
If matk xtals are added to an already strong matk style enchanter than you get an even stronger auto casting enchanter.

I was just trying to say that you can play the character the way its meant to be played from the app class, also it was good and nowhere near a waste of time... if you know what youre doing ofcourse....
