If the pet is already tamed, it should not leave your island. Only when it is a stray and you let it be hungry then it will leave.

I've noticed that when it becomes famine it doesn't lvl any further so you could not feed it forever but the stats won't go up and they could decrease

Actually, do you have to feed it everyday. Because I feel like I'm wasting food because it just increase by 20 because it's already max. So maybe I should just feed it every other day or something o.o

Feeding pets have its perks, you also lvl your pet's stats depending on what you feed them. For example, you have a Roar pet.. every time you feed them Ether it will boost INT, VIT, DEX stat experiences and decreases str, agi & crt. (which makes Roar a good pet to have for support btw)
And also my experience with an untamed pet, if you feed them at least once.. it won't leave the island.

Thanks for that info ah, also the more island obj you have of a certain element, the more the affinity you will get when feeding pets(for example kiji needs earth, so the more earth obj u have, the more affinity it will get when u feed it.) |

will there be any reason the pet level drops? mine dropped from lv 10 to lv 9, stats also suffered, and i dont know what i did..
i thought i missed feeding it for a day or two, but im really not sure..

I guess it means that you have to keep all stats balanced or the pet level will drop. Or it could mean its tired of eating that lol (becomes picky haha) |
