Yep. I try play my wiz daily. I'm liking the class so far.
I have iron up now which makes me have 4k hp now. It really helps. I get about 4k exp at Medusa so I think I'll be doing that when I solo. And I guess I'll do a couple rounds of ATG with my ninja and just heal her if she dies. Just need to get some paralysis & poison heal for Medusa.
Thankx btw. Nah, you won't need para or poison heals lol, unless you just don't like having negative status. Even their poison barely dmg me with 1 vit (certainly not like alebros' +900 dmg) and the para doesn't seem to affect casting as much as it does physical attacks. My AGI wannabe monk slows down to a snail's pace when he's paralyzed but my wiz seems to only slow down a little in casting (rarely do I expect to do phy dmg with my staff). I timed myself on Medusas, and it's about 15 minutes for me to do a full run (kill 50, die, turn in quest, run back) when solo. It takes me almost an hour to do AtG solo (sans FG), lol At 120 atg takes 4-6 mins to solo

And Medusas will still take less time, I would think mostly because of the time it takes to find the mobs than killing them. I PTed with a L140+ Wiz casting EQ on Meduas and I think I was running back to town every 5 minutes, maybe less.

It takes me almost an hour to do AtG solo (sans FG), lol i found a pretty simple way of getting past albero's poison (being a wiz), and you can solo alberos until you get 30 kills for ATG (or farm mini haniwas!).. you just need to cast drain, then select another albero and drain, and then select another albero and cast drain etc (just tap on the albero on the screen, you will need to have your drain pre-selected [tap on drain ONCE; we usually tap twice: once to pre select another time to cast]).. the trick here is to cast one drain on every albero, since drain is a damage over time attack, and it heals you, hp gets replenished (negating poison effect) and you end up killing multiples of alberos.. usually one drain per albero is enough to kill it, unless you damage is rather low.. all you need to do is to tap on the alberos surrounding you and recast another drain on the one that has stopped.. presto! 30 alberos dying all around you one after another.. muahahha! to get rid of poison once done with 30, just suicide and let your pet heal you, or bring an antidote if you dont have a pet.. this saves you heaps of antidotes anyways^^

Just need to make sure there's always one more to drain lol. It can dicey when you find yourself with no mob to drain. I usually do the alberos right by the stairs to the Leopards and use the leopards to as batteries basically. Drain Leopard, FireLance alberos MiniTip: Leopards and Ganoshkas are weaker to Ice than Fire. Alberos has no preference.

Another way to survive albs is to buy "poison (vacc)" at NPC which repel poison for 5 mins

They seem to take as much dmg from IceSpears as Firelance; certainly not big enough of a difference to show weakness. Ganoshkas are weak to icespears more than firelance, while Leos are weaker to Ice but not by much.
