As i play BK. I already change from special sword to claw build and now back to special sword. However i am aiming for special claw.
Back to the topic, i often use beast slash with claw and the bleeding damage quite high. It reach up to 1.2k. So i 1stly assumr that atk are the factor affecting this bleeding damaged.
After i back to special sword, i found out that the beast slash only gave me 300 damage. That kinda low right?
With this i am very sure that the bleeding damage of Beast Slash based on crit instead of atk. Can someone else prove this for me?

i played with beast slash. i compared it to sword and claw. using sword only does half the damage of bleed as i do using claw but skill damage given using sword is higher than that of claw. check the damage you deal. claw does higher only with bleed but skill damage is lower. thats based on my test using dragons claw 184+9 vs lamia 165+0.

Here the result. Firstly, I used only level 1 beast slash(I don't do the skill quest yet). Secondly, I tested with the same atk between sword and claw(Not exactly same, but close). When I use a sword, the damage tend to be 2 times higher than other weapons. When I use a claw, the bleeding damage tend to be 2 times higher than other weapons. Otherwise(cane, throwing, and bow), the damage will low as using claws and the bleeding damage will low as using swords.
When I add 1 str, the bleeding damage is added by 2. So, if you use any claws, the bleeding damage will be added by 4(2 times higher) instead.
This is the test from level 1 only, keep that in mind.

Nice. That is bcause claw show dual damage right? I tried with normal claw vs dual claw. Both gave me the same result. Only sword is different. And for the skill damaged, even with same attack, i noticed that my BK dealt 2k - 4k different in damage.

skills description is different effects between swords and claws. i prefer using claw though. im using stake knuckle to spam skills. but if i have s steflys i would try agi str crt vit build. the bite hp recovery aint bad. its like 5% of your damage. if i use dragons claw or testament or huge cherry blossom, the hp recovery would be non stop.
