Pein's Paladin Guide!
Hello fellow Irunians, and welcome to my paladin guide! This guide will consist of masses amount of info on gears, abilities and crystas that Paladins tend to use in game in order to make their tanking capabilities at its best. Feel free to add onto the list if you feel that there are new gears or crystas that should be added to the guide. For those that help contribute towards the thread will be given credit at the end. Hopefully the guide will be of use to any future paladins in the making ^^)/
Builds:
These are the builds stat-wise most paladins use within the game, it solely depends on your preference for which build you go for. Remember, all of these builds can tank as long as they have VIT as their main stat.
Guardian Spam Builds
VIT/INT/DEX - Magic Sword/Special Sword guardian spam user
Pros:
+ High MP Pool
+ Can tank Magic mobs better compared to VIT/DEX/STR
+ Quick Cooldown between buffs
+ Self Heal really useful when there's no bishop, can make use of it due to high MP Pool
Cons:
- Not as much damage compared to VIT/DEX/STR
- Relies on HP Pots/Bishop's heal for spamming Guardian
- Not as much gear selection compared to other builds
- May feel slow at leveling at first.
- Not as much damage compared to VIT/DEX/STR

These are one of the high HP mobs where everyone grinds usually. I wouldn't recommend soloing these as they have high hp, and you will end up burning up alot of pots. Exp within a 4 man party will probably be cut down to 60-80K Experience, but even so its good exp if you don't like doing Exp quests. I'd recommend doing this if you like to party up with people, which you should be doing since you are a pally anyways xD. This will feel slow early on in my opinion since megaroche are always crowded with players . Use wind element weapons like sinbad or have an enchanter cast wind origin on you if you'd like to deal more guardian damage due to elemental advantage.
High Ent [160+]

37K Experience
This is another fairly high Hp mob you will find everyone grinding usually now. Since these mobs don't have as high hp as megaroche, I would recommend trying to solo these since they are fairly easy to kill. In a 4 man party your exp will probably be cut down to around 10-25K at the minimum, but because they are easy to kill it may be faster rather than to do megaroche. However this area is crowded as well but the spawn rate for high ents are faster than megaroche. Use fire elemental weapons to increase your guardian damage such as Dragon roar due to elemental advantage or have an enchanter cast fire origin on you.
Balor [160+]

98-101K Experience
This is one of the high HP mobs you may find some people grinding usually. I wouldn't recommend soloing these as they have higher HP than high ents, so you will end up burning through alot of pots to kill one, although they don't have as high hp as a megaroche. In a 4 man party you will gain around 45-60K experience. This area isn't as crowded as Megaroche or High ents, so it would be good if you can manage to form a party here as Balors spawn on all floors of this dungeon. Use wind elemental weapons like Sinbad to increase your guardian damage against these mobs due to elemental advantage or have an enchanter cast wind orgin on you.
Amikiri [140+]

4.8-4.9K Experience
These are one of the low level mobs you will find early on to grind till you have guardian. These mobs have really low hp so I would recommend soloing these if you are below 160 and want to work your way up to getting guardian. To top it all off these mobs are dark element, meaning that you can abuse them with gloria buff (yay xD) and spam hard hit or holy thrust against them. I would strongly recommend to level with these mobs if you don't enjoy doing exp quests.

Snake in the Maze [120+]

Quest Objective:
Kill X99 Nagas or X30 Nagas depending on which you pick
Quest Reward:
Naga × 30: Experience 120K, Revita L × 1
Naga × 99: Experience 410K, Revita L × 2 or Magic Jar (cold) × 1
Shekto will give you two choices to pick from when you pick up the quest to either slay x30 Nagas or x99 Nagas. This quest was a way of how some of us got to 160 without killing megas, it's slow at first but in due time you'll reach it with dedication. Naga's element is dark, so you'll be able to do extra damage if you use gloria buff, which is really reliable should you want to abuse elemental advantage mobs when grinding. Solo-wise the exp gain is pretty good as well, you get 4154 experience roughly from Nagas, The quest turn in reward gives you 410K Experience if you kill x99 Nagas or 120K Experience if you kill x30 Nagas.
Dirty Gears [240+]

Quest Objective:
Collect X10 Dirty gears or X5 Dirty gears depending on which you pick
Quest Reward:
X10 Dirty gears: Experience 720K, Revita XL × 6
X5 Dirty gears: Experience 380K, Big Whetstone × 5
Dirty gears quest is pretty much what everyone does nowadays. The only problem with this quest is that it requires you to get the uncommon drops from nommars. This may involve a couple hours worth of grinding if you are looking to get around 5-6 stacks of dirty gears, which is really good in the long run as you get 720K exp for just turning in x10 dirty gears. Nommars have high hp so it may take you time if you are solo grinding these, I wouldn't recommend soloing though as you will burn through alot of pots. Forming parties here would be quick and easy, you could even level here at Lv 160, but you won't be able to do the quest till Lv 240. The element of nommars are fire, so using water element weapons or having an enchanter with origin would really help your guardian damage against these mobs.
Makeshift Armor [170+]

Dielrolt: The Inner Depths

Quest Objective:
Collect X90 Hard Armor Pieces and (optional) kill Zimov
Quest Reward:
Experience 450K If Zimov is killed, If not 290K
Ulde will provide you a quest if you talk to her, you can find her at Zimov's boss map. The element for these mobs are Dark, so you'll have an elemental advantage with gloria buff which should make killing them easier. This quest is pretty easy if you can't find bishops and killing Tigris' are pretty easy solo-wise, the only problem is you'll find yourself using hp pots or resting a bit after spamming guardian for so much. For every x90 hard armor pieces you turn in to Ulde, you will receive 290K experience considering that you don't kill zimov every time and just want to turn in all of the hard armor pieces without hassle but if you do kill zimov every time when turning in the hard armor pieces you will receive 450K experience.

This area isn't as crowded as Megaroche or High ents, so it would be good if you can manage to form a party here as Balors spawn on all floors of this dungeon. Use wind elemental weapons like Sinbad to increase your guardian damage against these mobs due to elemental advantage or have an enchanter cast wind orgin on you.

These are one of the low level mobs you will find early on to grind till you have guardian. These mobs have really low hp so I would recommend soloing these if you are below 160 and want to work your way up to getting guardian. To top it all off these mobs are dark element, meaning that you can abuse them with gloria buff (yay xD) and spam hard hit or holy thrust against them. I would strongly recommend to level with these mobs if you don't enjoy doing exp quests.

Dirty gears quest is pretty much what everyone does nowadays. The only problem with this quest is that it requires you to get the uncommon drops from nommars. This may involve a couple hours worth of grinding if you are looking to get around 5-6 stacks of dirty gears, which is really good in the long run as you get 720K exp for just turning in x10 dirty gears. Nommars have high hp so it may take you time if you are solo grinding these, I wouldn't recommend soloing though as you will burn through alot of pots. Forming parties here would be quick and easy, you could even level here at Lv 160, but you won't be able to do the quest till Lv 240. The element of nommars are fire, so using water element weapons or having an enchanter with origin would really help your guardian damage against these mobs.
Makeshift Armor [170+]

Collect X90 Hard Armor Pieces and (optional) kill Zimov
Quest Reward:
Experience 450K If Zimov is killed, If not 290K
Ulde will provide you a quest if you talk to her, you can find her at Zimov's boss map. The element for these mobs are Dark, so you'll have an elemental advantage with gloria buff which should make killing them easier. This quest is pretty easy if you can't find bishops and killing Tigris' are pretty easy solo-wise, the only problem is you'll find yourself using hp pots or resting a bit after spamming guardian for so much. For every x90 hard armor pieces you turn in to Ulde, you will receive 290K experience considering that you don't kill zimov every time and just want to turn in all of the hard armor pieces without hassle but if you do kill zimov every time when turning in the hard armor pieces you will receive 450K experience.
