So. Toram has been refusing to work on my Android tablet (4.4.2, 2GB ram, not rooted). It was working perfectly during alpha and I have been playing since September of last year but after beta, I can't get it to start!
The app first had a patching error when I tried to update it to the latest version in May (I forgot what the exact wording of the error was) and it kept stopping halfway through the update. I cleaned out data, uninstalled, restarted my tablet, then downloaded the apk file directly from toram.jp. It downloads fine, installs fine, but when I try to open the app, it force closes and tells me "Unfortunately, ToramOnline has stopped". I tried everything (reinstall/clear data/force stop app/etc) but it hasn't worked to this day.
NOW. At first I assumed it was a bug or something and I was waiting until more updates but then on a whim, I decided to download toram on my phone (also 4.4.2, 1GB ram, not rooted) aaaaand...it plays perfectly!! What's the deal?! At least I can keep up with the game now but I want to see the pretty graphics on my tablet ╥_╥
PS. I don't know if I have any "cheat" apps. I haven't knowingly downloaded any.
