does the 1% chance to parry by def proc even if you don't have parry skill yet? Sorry I disposed the Caesar Shield that was gifted to me without testing it. But I would assume it would give parry capability much like spellburst+ on gear would give you spellburst. I wouldn't really use it. I mean if I understand correctly, it will mitigate damage according to your DEF (which maybe around 1k to 2k). At 1% proc rate this will mitigate around 10dmg to 20dmg on average of 100hits taken. This average will further reduce when you consider that parry works only on Physical attacks (since there are mobs that also do magic). Of course, that is IF my understanding of what it does is correct. Plus the fact that it only comes in no slot (you will need to slot it via real money) makes it really undesirable for me. Anyway, I do hope I am wrong because I've seen people put a slot on it.

Anyway, I do hope I am wrong because I've seen people put a slot on it. oh yeah certainly i dont plan on keeping it for any length of time, but iwas just looking at it and figured why not, might work for AS+ chars (enchanters) as a means to try and lower dmg taken (which might just be a novelty since the new skills coming out and dmg negation set) i got one from doing repair shield quest in kakuela since i was farming salt for my knight>paladin< and i figured i might swell get a shield now but i go duel shield instead since even with HH I'm getting about 4-5 out before i need to mp and salt seems like a waste if my mp is 112

There are far many additionals that will be more useful/effective for you. BTW, I remember having dismal mp when I was a new knight, this is easily resolved by having gears that have INT+. During beta I used a forest spirit and the INT+3 increased my MP by about 100-200, which was good because I could hardly use any skill during the time.

Try other gears with INT+. Im pretty sure there are alot out there that can give you INT and more.

Im pretty sure there are alot out there that can give you INT and more. ill probably have to go farm or buy better gear, right now since I'm around 55, i didnt bother getting high end gear, w.trans max atk s hp20% (could switch to max mp% or max mp static) mithril armor (only hp armor i have atm) bunny ears (switching to duel shield) and the kg, i could try finding int abilities

int abilities work like using stats on int, only gives 3-4 mp max, i used a ring that was near kleya, i think the name was sunshine ring, it gives int+2 and mdef+10%, usefull for max mp and mdef, which you need at lower lvl

besides int ability gives more than 3-4 mp max, i don't know where you got that information from but int stat gives a lot more than that

i droped int lvl 1 on add from false grecia helm, and moved to my shield, worked as a int on stat to me

just try putting a int+5 xtall there, lots of max mp will be yours, if it's too hard for you, try int+3 from puton, a liitle group of mushrooms before kayse plits
