your character is not saved on the phone, the information is on the server, and can only be accessed by the account you use, also, if you are planning to jailbreak just to use hacking software, please don't do that >_> if you are planning to do that for other benefits that Apple don't allow you to do with out it, then go ahead, but remember, if jailbreak is not made properly, you will have a really expensive piece of scrap metal  |

It confuses me that I have one iOS account accross two devices, yet two different Iruna accounts. Not interested in jail breaking but if nothing is stored on the phone and I was to jailbreak (again, this is just speculatory because I don't need to jailbreak or anything like that) how does it know which Iruna account I want to use? o.o
When I used Android, with my one Android account it used the same Iruna account accross two devices.
I known Iruna updated some time back where you could move iOS accounts accross devices.

well, iruna doesn't stores character data in phones, only on their servers, so nothing can go wrong with deleting phones info

Again kinda confused. I had an iPad a while back and had to replace it about a week or so later. I had to restart on Iruna and couldn't access the account I had been using. I was using the same iTunes account.
I suppose I should have backed it up to iTunes or something, although I don't have a computer so couldn't work out how to do that :3
Seems that backing it up is important for iOS users, even though Iruna keeps that data on their own server.

Back up on server. Then download acct to phone/ipad. If it doesnt work, then you basically lose the acct.

ios stores the info on the device..the servers won't store your character info. That's why ios uses back up files if you have problems with your device. If you do jail break don't expect that the servers will "keep your info" ..I know first hand it's not the case. But..that's just my opinion. whatever you decide..good luck.

If the "servers store info" then I wouldn't have lost my characters ..so highly doubt they store character info considering when I contacted them they plain out told me ios users need their files backed up to keep the info if anything happens to the device. Which pretty much tells me that the info is stored on my device(ios files) and not severs. People will disagree with me but I'm speaking from experience with this issue. Again..just offering my "two cents" , hope it works out for you with whatever you decide.

I know first hand considering a similar issue happened to me with a crashed device. You WILL lose character info without proper back up. Servers will not keep the info. Sorry but I strongly disagree with that statement. |

The info is stored on the device is why lol I already had this problem first hand (crashed device) ..without proper backup the data is lost. if this person goes through with it and doesn't back stuff up the info will be lost. if the info was stored on servers then I'd be having my high level ninja and sniper right now lol along with 2 extra character slots and all my coin items..of which I do not. |

lacs, do you play on Android or iOs? From my understanding, Android version stores your character data on server, connected to your Play store account. That makes it easy to play on a new device and also have 2 or more accounts on the same device (log out of gmail1, login on gmail2). iOs version doesn't work like that. It stores character data on the device. That data can be backed up to itunes/icloud and the only way to play on another device is to download the backup from the previous device to the new one. It's also not possible to transfer data between 2 different type of devices (iphone to ipad for instance), just to the same type (iphone to iphone, ipad to ipad, ipod to ipod). I don't know how jailbreak works, but if it erases your device data, your character will be gone too.

my phone is but im not sure if you character will be gone because i started iruna after jb lol but i know for sure that if you jb then restore your phone(to remove jb) you character will be gone
