The mentality everyone online is male until proven otherwise. Lol it's the mentality of guilty until proven innocent. I don't have to prove anything to anyone, if you don't like it ignore this post or report it(though I'm not violating any rules) Btw I'm a female who tries very hard at this game, not begging for handouts(before anyone tries to belittle me). U don't by any chance use anilinkz chat do u? I've had this discussion with some1 there not to long ago. No I don't use that chat. It is very common to see guys playing a girl character and vice versa. Some are generally up front to the pasty face geek chasing their avatar and tell them"I'm a male". Others attempt to use their cute girl character to gain free spina/equipments/help or whatever the motive. This is called being a catfish (pretending to be someone else online) more often than not, my new potential friends in game approach me as if I were a catfish. They usually ask if I have kik, line, etc and when I ask why their response is to see a pic of me... Then typically add "to see if you're real" That's asking me to prove something in my opinion. Generally I'm willing to share a selfie after giving a reminder I'm not asking them for free handouts. |

I can always pretend to be a girl, give them random pics from google. And when someone ask for kik/line just give them my 2nd id exclusive to gaming. Change the pic and name and voila... I can be the girl for all they believe  Theres no real way to prove someone is a girl, unless meet her irl. So meh, just play the game. And IMO, it doesnt matter whether one is girl/guy. If one serious about this game, one will aim to work hard to earn what they want. Better to have this kind of mindset before hurting someone pride by forcing free stuff to them, especially only because u know someone is a girl and want to attract her Edit: Umm Crysta|, just an advice. Be careful when u share real-life information, including ur selfie. Surely u dont want to see ur face in some scammer's social media account ^^ |

Like I get it where as is case for some of my pps, they get to know a person well n start to like em, then t things up for a meet on Skype and then go the whole online relationship route which I totally ship. But... To have relationship without doing that, sure thing they could be cool and likable person...but they could also be not wot u think they are (meat n 2 vege instead of what u think is tasty seafood) like srs eww 1 person ik well and have known since I 1st came to iruna (also the only person in game to date to know my true name) was in relationship forever, then...hmm I kinda pushed her to take things further and at least get his email to start with coz the were just an iruna thing at that point...they did do phone numbers and agreed to exchange photos...and things ended quick lol. The guy was...well we knew his age already but he was late 20s and tryin to chase girls in a game so... |

How does it effect u tho? I get that some people dont support it but as long as its not effecting u whats the issue? U do ur own thing and everyone else will do theirs if u dont like online relationships dont be in one simple as that its the persons choice if they trust and want to be with someone if they trust the wrong person its their own fault but it was also their own choice all im saying is u shouldnt talk down about something that doesnt effect u in any way its unnecesary and just plain moronic

Maybe for some ppl, it also become a hobby? (kidding) If the relationship is not meant to be serious, only for fun, and the couple fully aware of it, then I dont care. But when it comes to player on his/her 20s or more, AND think dating only ingame is okay for the rest of his/her life.... I pity them, and I highly agree with bravebor. IMO dating limited to in game is the sign that relationship is going stuck, while finding partner around this age is necessity, not only for fun anymore. So dating some avatar guy/girl who refuse to went further on relationship, for me is a waste of time. |
