Lol that's how I feel truthfully. I'm a fan of a "Jack-of-all-trades-Master-of-none". I'm wanting to go Nail Enchanter. I like being about to dole out physical and magical damage, as well as being able to take some punishment. And all else, aid and support my allies. I like to be able to do a little bit of everything. After all, there is no "best" class or setup. It's all just doing what you like to do  ---- SPELLBLADE FTW!! every class has its own pros and cons  Paladin Pro : Great decent dmg tanker Con : bad soloer Ninja Pro: great to tank/solo Con: Bad side effects will eat u up. Derp.. ^^ Paladin at high lvl can solo a LOT of hard bosses. They are exellent tanks, they can keep the agro and had good atk :] . Ninjas CAN'T tank, they can't keep the agro, and are really invulnerable at bad effects @-@. But they are a really nice solo class, can deal a lot of dmg compared to Paladin :] . |

I have a pally and I dont think he Is a bad soloer. He can solo grind easy bosses for farm using jar and currones. He can farm mobs with jar and currones fairly quick too because guardian Is aoe. he can solo mega and kill 3 In under 2 minutes so I dont think his dmg Is Inferior either. I also have videos In the paladin section dealing with difficult bosses solo. |

But yes, every class has pros and cons. I just believe that the con for pally is not on the solo capability, but rather on the heavy reliance on pots.

I'm just saying the paladin class in general aren't ment to solo, but to tank and take all the hits that's why they got all those support buffs, -_- and I see a lot of ninjas tanking.

Yeah, I got your point. I'm just trying to remove the misconception that Paladins can't live solo because I have proven that they can, and they're pretty good at that. I believe the misconception comes from Paladins who are confused with what they want. I mean, you have a great class that has great survivability skills and the first thing that they think of is to add more survivability. It's like having a class that is un-kill-able to more un-kill-able, which sounds redundant. |

All classes can solo, just some may have it easier than others. And all are usually reliant or dependent on something. For Paladin, it may be it's sturdy defense and pots. Enchanters mainly around Stone Skin (from what I hear). Monks' heals and high HP, etc. Ninja truthfully struck me as strange when I'd seen a poll voting it as the No.1 solo class. I've seen them deal some obscene damage, but it baffled my mind at how they were voted into the top spot. I used to think that they'ed get whacked easy. I'm still honestly not entirely sure how they're able to do so, but I've heard they can generate clones to take most damages for them, but need to be at low HP to be able to generate them (could be why they always got so pissed off when I was trying to be friendly and heal them. Excuse me for being a newb). I don't know much about each class individually, other than a few things. Only thing I know about Ninja is it's something like a Dark Knight, to the extent that it gives up HP for more power and ability (confirmed or am I wrong?).

To surmise, imagine your a class that have evasion- able to dodge any physical attack at 80% of the time, and you have 9 copies of yourself that will take any damage if you get hit. So a ninja who is quite hard to be hit, even who got hit, have clones to guard incoming damage from killing yourself. Sounds pretty clear that the boss will be having a tough time trying to kill that ninja, notwithstanding that when some clones disappear due to boss killing it off, can still make more clones to irritate the boss. FYI, the requirement for creating clones, is to have your maxHP under 10%. |

Although it's true that VIT/INT will have lower guardian than VIT/DEX or VIT/STR, versus magic mobs they will save more pots (MDEF is powerful for mobs, not for bosses anyway). I was previously VIT/INT and moved to VIT/STR because I quit trying to get Dia 2s. I was able to solo grind bosses for farm with VIT/INT. |
