I keep getting that. Vit Int Dex is useless. Even get it from pallys at times. Course the last one to tell me that was some dumbass that told me to go off myself for calling him a dumbass for punching a tree. He had an agility build and didn't know the difference between a tank role and a dps role. I've seen several people say I should drop int for damage. I see those same people get trapped into mdef armor and spam 'n pray when it comes to certain bosses. I'm a tank. I ground this thing from level one with a tank build and hard hit. Solo. Spent hours in the pits with nagas and pumping out mats for quests. I'll admit that there was nothing quite like getting guardian finally. It was damage city. Why? Because I didn't follow the other idiots who built a damage pally with no vit. I'm a tank. High damage isn't supposed to be my issue. Taking a hit, walking into a room, and PIE smacking something to the point that all it can see is me is the definition of a tank. Make em hate you. Make em wanna see you bleed. And laugh as you shrug off the hits. Sure, nine times out of ten you are an annoyance to them. But you got that far by learning that paladin wasn't ninja or gladiator or sniper. No, it took time to fight things. And you need both the HP and MP to save on pots as well as the ability to spam your skills and buffs. Sure, lots of pretty builds out there. Well, only four I consider viable if you have the stones to call yourself a tank. But I now have two weapon types I can pick up. Each with two classifications. Both int or dex. Because for the longest time tanks didn't have a weapon they could use. We hit the roof when Espada came out. Most of us used a throwing knife from time to time to tank with. Oh sure, you have the rerollers who simply built one way to grind, spent a few bucks, then built another way to become a tank again. Meh, I'd wrinkle my nose at it but it's how they chose to enjoy the game. So I won't cast judgement. Instead I will point you to the old 'Agility gear' build. To the players that remember sashimi knives. Who remember spending weeks trying to get a two slotted boss claymore. Who needed int to survive as a tank. And then I'm going to point out that it is one of four builds that has survived since the beginning. It was a thing before paladin was. And it's still here. Easy road? Never. Not for a day in your life. But I am a tank. My job is to break things and survive the next wave of changes. So I will stick to what I know. wow no need to get heated up i didn't say it's useless read it again it's useless if you are focussing on atk that's what i said xx

Lmao not getting heated up or hostile. I love tanking. Ive seen it survive quite a bit on here. I'll stand beside those who decide to walk as tanks. Simply because I know how hard the road can be. Especially in a game where sometimes your healer thinks he's a tank lol. To be fair, that was a thing when false grecia came out. Bishops could tank at that point. Never pause much attention to them before that. And honestly haven't since I got back to the game.
I just have a feeling though. If I reroll it won't be the same class. To be fair, I still have the reset book I got way back when from the devs. I just know I will most likely go back to a defensive build.

Anyway, that aside it's not like I can get the spina for those items. He'll I have 19m to my name. Working on alchemy so that I can start selling nuggets and make some cash. Problem is that it's going to take time. Most of the things I can solo farm don't sell much anymore.

I have played as paladin since 2013, n what I can say is pally's most viable build is most likely still same as back then in 2013. Defense oriented (VIT-INT-DEX) & damage oriented (VIT-DEX-STR) What is changed is the popularity of those builds. Since skill like knight oath is introduced, most pally prefer to maximise their oath damage than their magic defense. Then, the question now, is INT build has become obsolete? My answer is: depend on your view to paladin class. While most is addicted to damage output, some stil think paladin is a pure wall/shield of party. With that point of view, no doubt that INT build provide better magic defense than STR build, as well as increase mp regain from bishop's bless (good news for mp healer)

What about special throw the immortal pally build? Yea but lower dmg Until the ability to turn off auto attack is implemented special throw build isn't really possible since you'll be trying to spam guardian with max aspd
