After looking on the forums/JP wiki (I tried my best to understand. I cannot read Japanese), asking, and chatting about cultivation (planting), I have learned a number of things and decided to compile them here as well as ask for more information from players. Please post replies in this thread to the questions I have after the chart. Here is what we know:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Planters
To begin cultivating and harvesting you will need a planter. Planters can be purchased in the item shop for 100 coins. You're only allowed 3 planters per account, not per island.
Once you have your planters placed you can add your seeds with fertilizer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Seeds
There are 4 different plantable seeds:
Plant Seed, Fruit Seed, Vegetable Seed and Grain Seed.
Plant Seed can be obtained from Pallone mobs located in Sofya Outskirts. Plant seeds will germinate into only these plants: Leafs (My interpretation of JP wiki), Flowers, and Mushrooms.
Fruit Seed is obtained through the Alchemy Production.
Fruit seeds will germinate into only these plants: Oranges, Apples, Bananas, Lemons, Grapes, Mangos, Melons, and Cocoa.
To make a Fruit Seed you will need:
3 Blue Jelly
2 Plant Seed
Blue Jelly can be obtained from Level 41 Moeba located in Rokoko Windhole on the first floor. It can also be obtained from Moeba Level 33/35/38 in the Eternity Maze on the first 3 floors.
Vegetable Seed is obtained through Alchemy Production. Vegetable seeds will germinate into only these plants: Potato, Watermelon, Carrot, Leek, and Tomato. (I know some of these are not vegetables but you will see why they fit in this category later.)
You will need:
2 Black Jelly
3 Plant Seeds
Black Jelly can be obtained from Level 51 Tahl mobs located in the Scorched Tunnels
Grain Seed is obtained through Alchemy production. Grain seeds will germinate into only these plants: Rice, Wheat, and Sorghum. (Sorghum is corn.)
To make Grain Seed you will need:
2 Red Jelly
3 Plant Seed
Red Jelly can be obtained from Level 54 Lava in the Scorched Tunnels. Lava mobs in eternity maze are not known to drop Red Jelly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Fertilizers
Once you have your seeds, select a planter and add your seed. It will then prompt you to add a fertilizer.
Fertilizer has 6 different classes.
Meat
Fish
Vegetable
Liquid
Ore
Mysterious
The fertilizer you select has a small effect on how much is harvested, but not the time it takes to harvest, time it takes to whither, or the plant that you grow. (The effect fertilizer has on the amount of harvest is so small it's not worth worrying about. JP wiki even said that.) Where as island attribute value has a larger effect on which plant you grow. A higher amount of attribute value will allow you to grow more diverse plants of the same type, ie fruits. A lower attribute value will result in fewer species in the same type.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Watering
You should water your plant daily. Watering does have an effect on the amount you harvest from your plant. You can only harvest once per day. Make sure you don't forget to. Forgetting to water one day could cost you a large amount of potential harvest. The time to water your plants resets 24 hours after you last watered and the "day" changes at 9am PST.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Withering
Withering does not mean that the harvests are ruined. In fact, for those that seek to plant the same plant again this may be very important. For most plants this is the only time that you can harvest the seeds of that plant in particular.
Ex. If you wait until your wheat is withered then harvest it you will get Wheat Seeds!! This guarantees that you will grow wheat with those seeds regardless of the fertilizer!
The regular harvest, let's say it's wheat, will be less when withered. You will get wheat seeds, grain seeds, and wheat, but less wheat than from a normal harvest. Also, harvesting from a withered plant will remove the plant. It will be the last harvest then you must replant a seed.
Also, each plant in the same type has similar times until they start to wither as well as times until they can be harvested from. Thus why there are fruits in the vegetable category. (I assume this because that's how it is on the JP wiki.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Harvest
The amount that you harvest from a plant is greatly affected by the number of island objects on your island, and the island attribute value. The attribute that increases harvests from each type are currently unknown.

This chart is not perfect. If you have details to change or add please post in this thread and I will update this chart.

-Questions
1. What are all the potential harvest missing from the chart?
2. Which attributes affect the quantity of the harvests of different types of plants?
3. Is it only the attribute value of the island that affects which plants grow? Or is it the combined attribute value of the island and its objects that affects which plants grow?
