I was looking to start leveling my production but I'd like to hear everyone's input on what is the best/most useful production to work on and why?

Personally I think they're all equal unless you want specific things. And they all end up on relying on other production later heh. However I do Chasing since it's the easiest for me and not much farming is really involved, the chance of a slotted special equip is always a plus though.

I'd have to agree with Akairi that in the end you'd eventually do all. Since you need other materials from other prod too. For me I started out Tailoring, it's not that hard and I kinda profited a lot out of it too. Scarf easy sell to those who want some cute accessories. There are some useful things that you can make too and sell for decent spina. Mage Robe. Witch Hat. Bunny Ear Hat. Island Objects is a plus too, then again, almost all prod has their own piece of Island object. In Tailoring you get to make cushions XD easy sell too. Plus they look good. For alchemy, you can sell the dyes too cause people doing Tailoring needs those stuff. And there are a lot of other things you can sell but I forgot. I capped it too but not really sure, haven't bothered Selling stuff lol. But you can make potions too, especially remL. People eat those like cookies. So if you're patient, you can sell those St an early level.. Carpentry is profitable too. Not sure if people still buy Baphomet Horns as accessories. But they go for 800 to 1M per piece of NS. Plus there's also Island Objects. And you can also strengthen low attack Solve Rod which people want to much. Put in some attack and you can profit millions. Then again this is risky. Healing Branch easy sell for 1M too. Takes 5 minutes to make.

Not sure if there are mp pots at cooking. I can make Remagic XL from alchemy now though.
A guildie of mine does cooking. And I like pet food. Now I think she can make luxurious pet food. Yay fine dining for our pets. Lol.

Carp-chasing-alchemy Smith-chasing-alchemy Tailor-chasing-alchemy
These three combos cant be ignored. If you do carp or smith oe tailor to make elemental items (mostly weaps) you cannot escape needing chasing and alchemy..or be prepared to pay for those services. Its why I decided to do all kinds.
Tbh every prod has its merits.
Like cooking. People forget about it.. but its like an extra buff all the foods u can make. Items that affect stats (stats, aspd , cspd,mp, hp, etc) , can be used as pots(yogurt is 500mp/hp), or useful items like pet food and luxury pet food (my pets love love love it ).
Personally depending on your finances id start with tailoring if you MUST only pick e. Maybe carp. chasing is superduper easy but will cost u mills in pick axes alone, let alone the tools lol. smithing is also easy if you have spina to blow. Just buy every stack of hematite you see. Seriously all of it lol.
Tbh the smart thing is to think ahead. Know what mats r needed for various prods and when you farm save it accordingly. And know the local mobs, you might need those mats soon too. I.e. Ents drop : ent splinter (Carp), sour nut (alchemy and cooking), catapla bow (carp), ent leaf (tailoring).
Nearby the roars drop glowing wings (alchemy ) and Cerberus drop pelts(tailoring ) and crescent moon (carp).
Dont waste mats. You will regret it later lol. I cannot tell you how painful it was to realize I disposed 20+ stacks of ent leafs.. when I reached that recipe in tailoring. Literally almost cried lol.
Anyways I've rambled. Good luck picking one ^^ but real talk: do them all. Its better in the long run
And I swear im not just a rambler >.< I do all 6 but im a smidge behind. These ten level updates r killing me .

If u r assassin and u r using throwns u should focus on chasing and cap it as fast as possible. In few hours we will ger production cap 105 and at lvl 125, 146 and 157 - we can create must have throwns. I think they release 125 cap in 3-4 updates after next one so buy some tool and pickaxes and go dig and tap tap tap...
Yeah, i know probably noone could read it xD
