I'm a lvl 85 Hunter but I've grown bored with him... The guild leader of the guild I'm in told me to just "deal with it, you're already dedicated to it".
But if I'm not having fun with that class and build, should I really stick with it or restart? (I don't have nor can afford a stefly)

I'm a lvl 45 mage and trying to decide what class I'm gonna be. On other games I play a more support like character like healers or buffers. But I also play as a wizard on others, as well as a tank. I like being all though. My stats are: Str- 1 Int- 64 Vit- 42 Agi- 4 Dex- 28 Crt- 9 I am a bit torn about the class since they all seem great. I personally went Mage/Wizard/HighWizard for my first class, for the simple reason that I deemed it the easiest class to level with minimal to zero dependence to parties, or guilds. I never had any issues hitting L50 and once I became App Wiz ! 50, things just got easier. I'm L169 now, and have mostly grinded my way there. MQ is only after Metalbrow. Regardless of what you go by, you may want to review your stats before going further. You're a tad all over the place. My first char got to L60 before I deleted him

I agree that mage> wizard> High Wizard is the fastest lvling class and nearly independent in grind lvling( just build some hp gear until lvl 120) stats you would build would be int to max first and then Dex, and vit if you plan on solo. As a high wizard you can be independent and support at the same time ^^

The type of class you're describing is either enchanter or bishop. Both have buffs to support party and can do damage if you level them enough. Generic enchanter will have lower damage tho. I can mostly speak for enchanter though since I am one.

I don't really feel like starting over when I'm so close to being lvl 50. It's taken me almost a week just to get to the lvl I am now. I've also been told I should buy a reset book, but can't afford it. I've also been told to find a class that fits my play style but my style is this: I like being a healer/buffer with some spells and tanking capabilities. But haven't figured out what class fits that.

Heal + Buff + Tank pretty much defines a Bishop the most (some other classes, like Enchanter can fit that bill too though they're heavier on buffs) but be warned that Mage/Cleric/Bishop is one of the hardest to level solo due to lack of Dmg skills. Unless you can get someone or guild to help you past the lower levels, it'll be a pain. TBH, you probably will feel the pinch until L180 when you get Nemesis, and ONLY if you forgo Vit for Dex (going by what I read here, as my Bish is only L167 and mostly Int/Vit).

I have a guild (I'm an officer in it) but rarely get help lately. Most are under lvl 25. The few over 30 prefer to grind or quest solo or with someone else. And I was a bit torn between 3 classes: Bishop, Enchanter, and Minstrel. Since each could tank, heal some(or a lot with Bishop), and good support. Though I think only Bishop and Enchanter could solo, since Minstrel is better in party.

If we can get you a solid hour even on neks, I can get you back to L50. STRONGly suggest really researching good stats for those classes before you re-roll. Bish is Max INT first, Max VIT for tanking OR Dex for Nemesis (L180 skill) and 3rd stat is what ever you didn't go with for 2nd. I don't know enough for Mins or Ench

You can get me from lvl 5(always do tutorial for the xtra xp) to 50 in an hour? Pretty close to it if not exactly at 50. Depends on how heavy traffic is, and competition from other players. Edit: Tonight's no good as I already have someone waiting, but will see about wkend.

Then I might actually remake char. Be a minstrel tank. PM me char name, and I'll try my best to PM you when I am available. I don't go to forums often on wkends but will try best to do and check. Edit: Do what I do. Since you can just sit there, don't bother actually distributing your stats until you hit L50 at least. My baby cleric was L90 before he used 1 stat

As far as tanking bosses goes Bishops do poorly on higher leveled content. I don't see many tank Minstrels but I think they do okay, but will be inferior to other classes as they probably can't take a hit from some bosses(Doom is scary).
Enchanters tanking ability is actually pretty good, the main issue being how difficult it is to keep hate. It CAN(although barely for some) survive the biggest hits from all bosses. Also unless people know you they likely won't party you for being the tank because a lot of Enchanters just don't know how to do it, the same goes for Minstrel.
Tank Minstrel stats would probably be VIT INT AGI/DEX. I doubt the DEX is necessary and AGI would benefit tanking more. There's tons of info on Enchanters so you can check out the Enchanter section and decide on a build from there if you want to go that way.
