I am making this simple guide to suggest another set of gear for Paladins (aside from the typical HP gear, ATK gear, DEF gear, MDEF gear, or whathaveyou). I believe this should be as staple as any other gear you might have and may prove to be very valuable (as I have been trying to suggest through my Solo vids). This is an Item delay/Potency gear which would help Paladins become less reliant to parties. The idea is to spam pots faster or make it more potent or both.
Why is item delay/potency important?
Guardian eats through your HP as you use it, and it gathers 3 mobs which eats your HP too. For you to keep up, you will need a bishop to bless and heal you and keep your HP/MP up since the item cool down and amount of recovery will eventually be defeated by the HP you are losing, hence, you become very reliant to a partner to do anything. With this gear, you replace the need for bishops in the form of Onigiris and Remagic Ls (or whatever pots you have).
How much delay reduction do I need?
Per my experience and estimate, a potion will run in 4 seconds cool down. You can reduce it to 1 second minimum (so you can have a max of -3second gear). Depending on your build and mobs/boss you face, you may or may not need to reduce your item delay. So you can mix up your gears accordingly.
I use high end potions like thick revs, etc. do I still need this?
Well, these potions are hard to come by, unlike Onigiris and remagics you can just buy from shops. Also, increasing the potency of your pots makes you use less of it (conserve pots).
What can I get from this gear?
Your independence. Although it’s best to form a party, and forming a party isn’t really hard for a Paladin, there are instances where you may find that forming a party for a weird requirement can be a problem (skill requirement, abilities farm, bosses that nobody farms, etc.)
You will also find that solo boss kills are relatively easier with the gear, so you can help your friends MQ on difficult bosses without getting everybody else involved in it.
It also helps sustain party grinds when the bishop is absent, dc, lagging, you are waiting for one to pass by, etc.
And personally, I don't like to sit and LFP for half an hour staring at a boss when I could have grinded solo while waiting.
Is there a stat build requirement?
Well, not really. It can work regardless of INT/VIT, VIT/DEX or VIT/STR. I even use this on my VIT/CRT gladiator.
Anyway, moving on, below are the list of items/gears you can consider to build one. (I know this is incomplete and there are upcoming gears that is not on the list. But it should be enough to do the job)

Onigiris give 10% of my max HP, so MaxHP+20% technically increases the heal of my Onigiri. Why still choose Altadora?
Well, if you don’t increase your item potency, you will still need 10 onigiris to fill your HP whether its 10k HP or 100k HP or 500k HP, since it works in percentages. Altadora and item recovery+ helps reduce the number of pots required to do the job.
OK that’s all I have to say about it. Have fun and be the best Pally you can be.
