Iām so sick about what they did to necromancer, because I literally theoried THE MOST BASED interfike set up, and started pogging my freaking brain out when I realized the 360 skills were out and necros got atk based on matk and a decent normal attack multiplier. Except the multiplier comes at the cost of fixing your attack speed to the lowest possible (I really donāt know if this is true, and I canāt bother to check, but it does lower the aspd and subsequently the dps to below where just interfike by itself would beā¦ read this as thereās literally no point in using it.) I had to stop there. Even though the set was a meme, it was a freaking based meme ruined by Asobimo š”š Summoners/Geos can do more damage than Mexican food can to myā¦ I think a wizard that can hit kinda hard wonāt break the game. If it does, they need to figure out a way to implement the skill without punishing the user for using it, or give us a different skill If new skills donāt make the meta builds better, and it doesnāt make the meme builds betterā¦ it really didnāt have to be released right? I just want to play some janky bs, pls Asobimo

sounds like an asobimo problem, and not a player problem. I don't care about their issues. they should stop having issues, and then make content for their game.

I actually think that making auto good the next wave is insanely based and the right thing to do for the game. They just need to stop being scared and just do it, I think theyāre worried about the difficulty getting too easy if they do itā¦ but we already know theyāre going to cheat when they make their bosses, they just need to cheat harder š
But honestly though, necro got shafted. Even with 4 velenos, interfike and a good multiplier, the dps is just āaverageā. If weāre being honest itād be less than average. The redeeming factor that got me excited was how auto plays with skills. You can hit with during skill delay with autos, so the game play can look like skill, auto, skill, auto, skillā¦ Right now necromancer skills far exceed the dmg capabilities of auto, hitting an auto for 10% of your skill damage is obviously terrible, but what if they didnāt? What if the skills produced āaverageā damage and auto produced āa little less than averageā damage, but together they made for āgoodā damage? I think with this, necromancer obviously couldnāt compete with the S-tier dps in the game, but it does give a unique way for necromancers to add to their overall dps.
The reason I think this is insanely based, itās literally built into the core of the game and It makes designing classes soooooo easy. Want a skill spamming wizard? Make a hw. Want a pure auto wizard? Make an enchanter. Want something in the middle? Make a necro. Same thing for knights. Paladin spammer, Gladi auto, BK middle. Same thing for all the branches. The other skills are enough to differentiate the classes. Iām sure you can tell me the difference between a gladiator and an enchanter even though theyāre gameplay and skills are similar. They just canāt be scared to make the normal attack multiplier good. If they make auto good, they can make magic good and do an overall soft rebalance to make all the classes closer and more playable

Sniper turned melee auto, but at least they were always a melee class, just used to spam skills. Gladi Turned Auto melee from Melee skill spam Trying to turn a mage, dependent entirely on magic skills for their entire existence in the game, into a melee auto class is the most ridiculous idea i think ive ever seen. At best Necro would just be a mediocre Ench with Magic autos. But trying to force Necro into competition with not only sniper, but the insanely broken Auto Gladi? Far from the direction they needed to take. I wouldnt mind it if they tried adding Magic Autos to normal attack, and potentially additional hits to magic skills. But their decisions and approach is disgusting. I dont want meme skills, i want interesting skills that have a practical use in at least one single situation.

It requires such a huge investment in building decisions and it canāt even be used for what itās intended forā¦ like umm wtf š I think someone done goofed. Why doesnāt it scale off dark magic? Why doesnāt it apply damage at a fixed interval rather than fix your aspd? They at least got it to scale of matk, but what wouldāve made more sense is to make it a magic attack that scales off atk like theyāve been trying to shove down our throat for the past how many yearsā¦ Why is it literally unusableā¦ Either you choose this skill for terrible dps and forsake the whole other skill tree, or you play like the skill wasnāt even released. This is why there needs to be rebalances every 2-3 years because 3 classes get 1 insanely broken skill and 9 get 1 unusable skill. Iām not against it being a melee based auto, it might be easier to update the game like that, I really donāt know I really donāt care, but if it has to be melee, they need to make the payoff actually insane. For necro I think they could make the multiplier skill scale off dark magic and int or dex in addition to crit damage and crtā¦ or something that takes an ounce of effort in actually making the skill useful and then giving it a solid multiplier could actually do a lot in an effort to rebalance the classes and incentivize a way of playing Iruna in the direction they obviously want it to go. Idk why theyāre so scared to break a broken game. The only thing they can do at this point is break it until itās fixed.
