This is an interesting topic because I've always wanted to make a class that can solo bosses. But for it to be able to achieve that goal, that class must have high innate resistances. Or at least have high enough resistances so that it wouldn't cripple their damage too badly that every boss run will time-out. Paladins is a class synonymous with max resistances, etc - yet there aren't any available information on what their skill does or provides (in detail like how snake or Done~with~forums respective gladiator's guides show) Here are some of the info I found online searching jp blogs: ----------------------------- Guard - Physical resistance +30% Resist - Only increases magic defense. Magic resistance is not incremented. Fortis - All elemental attributes damage reduction +50% Parry/Shield Mastery/Stun Parry - When equipped with sword, cuts 60% of damage when activating parry Devotion - Nullify ranged physical attacks (with probability?) Grand Crusade - Nullify ranged magic attacks (with probability?) Shivaku Area - The paladin will take in place > 90% of damage of allies standing inside the area. (Area effect: Atk/Matk +5%) Holy Thrust - Heal Recovery up, Huge Atk up-------------------------------- As I don't have a paladin, I'm not able to verify if all these information are correct. But at least now you'll have a starting point on roughly knowing what paladin skills provide, and how to better utilize your paladin. Of course, it'll be great if the main stickied threads in paladin section have more info about this... we'll need a paladin expert Krish (Retired Player)

Holy Thrust - Heal Recovery up, Huge Atk up Holy Thrust doesn't increase ATK. It just does dmg and gives a heal recovery buff.

Holy Thrust - Heal Recovery up, Huge Atk up Holy Thrust doesn't increase ATK. It just does dmg and gives a heal recovery buff. So it seems it does increase ATK but not a huge amount. It raises it a little when HoK gauge is 0-49% and then a little bit more at 50-150%

Was something like 5-10%, I believe it increases the Atk% Increase based on how much HoK% you had when using it. If you use it at 150%, it's definitely a noticeable attack increase .

Good to know, then, if it's true. My pally doesn't have HoK yet so I was basing my answer on what I read so far, and don't remember anyone saying it increases ATK. I just knew it increased item and heal recovery +5% at 0% HoK and +35% at 150% HoK. And also remembered it affected the HoK percentage somehow, probably increased it.

The buff really was the culprit. XD Additional info about this
