So i just want to ask if anyone could share some of their gear set ups for negate set. I just found out how effective the set is from a youtube vid, but its pretty old so i wanted to see if anyone knows any better gears and ai than the ones used in this vid.
Can anyone also test the effectiveness of Azimov xtal? it gives a chance of surviving with 1 hp left when you get damage which does more than your max hp. Seems like a decent auto xtal :3
As of right now, these is my planned set
Apos: Sauro2, Vulschem, halios, Malti (eventually replace with jahoel) & Adventurer
Equips: Genius w/Crescent @rc3 Dragon mailQ15 w/Ziddu @auto2 Ensis shieldQ15 w/Rudolf @auto3 Acc @rc4 Myrica w/Douin @rc5
As far as i know, this set gives: Autoskill=32% Melee r=52 Magic r=15 Rate cut=62
so what do yall think? (Also tell me if im having the wrong idea about the computation of the overall rc/auto/melee/magic r of the set above)

If you go with damage negate set, you should copy enchanter damage negate set (since he inspired by that).
Optimum damage negate set are: •Genius-ziddu/frederico •Dragon Mail-Bodyguard Cordal •Ensis shield-Rudolf •Myrica wristlet •Ability lv2-5 auto & lv5 rate cut on sword •Apos: Purple
Why? because you need at least 40-50% autoskill rate to make this set works well. Based my experience, damage negate proc rate around 10-15%. So, coupled with 3 damage negate set +40% or more auto rate will ensure their proc rate.
HOWEVER, this set will not works if you get damage that above your current hp. So be careful with the timing.
Edit: dont go with crescent, it will kill genius damage disable auto. Furthermore, its proc rate fixed at 1% and cannot be boosted via autoskill rate stats.

Crescent's auto only works on special, so it shouldn't kill Genius's auto. I think the reason Crescent was chosen is to try to mix both autoskill and resistance in one set.

But yea, that rate cut are helpful for certain enemies.

Oh and about the damage more than your based hp, that part i think should be covered by azimov xtal (chance of surviving a hit that does way more than your base hp). But this still depends on the effectiveness of the projection of the xtal. So has anyone else tested this? Oh and yes, i wanted to use crescent for the hp+ and rc+, but i guess frederico is a better option lol.

Azimov proc rate isnt really reliable, even for enchanter. Mostly, that kind of damage based on rate damage cut which can be avoided via rate cut or simply special attack (such as Leviam sk damage, Larkas HP & MP drain, or 5m HP damage from Blitz (raid Spargas version)) which cannot be negated by damage disable. Fortunately, paladin has high base HP, so they can takes more hit after they got rate HP attack (unless it 200% rate HP attack).
