Hello everyone,
These are the results of my experiments with the summoner on the jp test server. (Reminder: it closes down on the 13th of June)
- ATK and MATK both affect summon dmg, MATK a bit more than ATK. - The skill which makes all your summons do an atk together depends on ATK. - Dmg of summons is increased if you use a bow as your weapon. Even if you got higher ATK and MATK with another weapon, bows still do more dmg.
I would like to know if any of you got more information about summoner's stats/equips, or corrections for my observations written above. I'm a bit confused as to what would be the best stats/equips for summoner.
The goal of this thread is to shed some light on the summoner class, to help those who'll want to make one when it's released.

I think Summoners should use Magic Bow and mix Atk, Matk, Hp, Mp, and Mp recovery.
Stats Int-Dex-Vit
Equipment Hiereus II Sauro II Dragon Mail (Max Up) Iniliba Arelta ReUp Dunkelis II Special Agira Jarma/Telon

I have no knowledge of summoner other than what's written in this site and the first post, but Imma give it a try. Like Nobody (Retired for now) said, I do think this class should use magic bows. However I do not see any benefit in having crt, unless there's something I missed. Cmiiw. That said, the stat build I'm thinking is int dex vit gr rd/bl (will talk about rd/bl in the next paragraph). Before I go into the equipment and everything else, I have one question - are the summoned creatures' stats affected by current stats or stats when summoned? Cuz if it's the former, then I think it's beneficial to have 3g, 1r, 1b al xtal setup. If it's the latter, I think it would be best to use a standard 6 yellow line setup. Assuming it is the former, here's a set I would recommend: Hiereus ii w/ sauro ii Heinrich mail re up w/ iniliba Sofys shield re up (when it comes out)/arelta up w/ dunk ii Cgb w/ pres. mezza/agira jarma Ouvel Zazel Jusal Muscle Enina Although I focused more on offense, I tried not to add too many negatives. Also, I wasn't very sure about its playstyle like, will the summons tank while the player spams arrow rain or classion(?)? If so, then some range cut+ should be added and perhaps some hate rise-. If not, I'd probably invest in a resist set ( possibly with genius, throat knife or caliburn as the weapon even tho none of those are magic bows I just remembered arrow rain only works with bows) and some resistance al. Other things I could focus on are item rec+/delay-, mp regen+ and mpc-. Would like this post reviewed. I have tons of doubts on the stuff I put here and I'm interested in thr class.

I'm almost sure that Summoners mobs are like Necromancers mobs, but Summoners mobs consume Mp over time. Maybe with new Skills the stats of Summoner could change. I would Use Cyan and Blue lines, because Summoner needs Mp and Mp Recovery (For the moment) because if they lost all the Mp, summoned monsters disappear.
"Summoner" says everything about the play style of this class (To me), So I think their DPS and survival is fully or almost fully based on Summoned monsters, because they have at this moment Baby Wolf (DPS), Colon (Tank), an Owl (Healer), and Summoners can Heal their monsters.

Keep in mind that crt will only affect arrow rain if the person has a pet with hide attack so unless they have a pet with it then crt isn't needed for stats because it would then be a waste of stats unless they are trying to get hide attack at the time of making the character

Is not Arrow Rain like DoC? DoC damage is white but is affected by Crt and Crt damage, but it's not affected by Hide Attack.

Arrow rain is mostly based on atk, with some dependece to distance (farther = higher damage) and hit stat (higher hit stat = more arrow rain hits). Arrow rain is affected by hide. I did a test to Summoner again, and Crt is uselesss for Arrow Rain, it does same damage with or without Crt. ^^u
Then Stats could Be Int-Dex-Vit using magic bow, or Summoner could use Normal Bows using Str-Dex-Int-Vit like in the test server, because Int stills raising Matk.

For snipers, crt increases paralysis chance which affects arrow rain's damage, so crt is good for damage in that sense xD. Oh wow. I'm ashamed I didn't think of that xD. Dex=int=str>vit sounds very plausible. In that case, bows from the mirror series (fma, gma, ima and tma) will be great since they have elemental advantage for arrow rain and atk/matk stats. Shigeto bow re up looks really good tho. Who knew catalpa bow will have its time to shine? XD very excited for this class

It's like Necromancer, the summoned creatures' stats are affected by the summoner's stats at the time of summoning. Maybe with new Skills the stats of Summoner could change. Yeah, I think we'll definitely get a better idea about this class's stats when it'll get more skills. But that might take a while, and if the class is released as it is, with lv140 skills, it's good to know what stats to put. In that case, bows from the mirror series (fma, gma, ima and tma) will be great since they have elemental advantage for arrow rain and atk/matk stats. Yep. Actually, the default weapon for summoner on the jp test server is a mirrow bow of the magic types (it has ATK +5% MATK +15%).

NightBreeze that changes things now we'll need a summoning set and a damage set. Summoning set I suppose could be the one I poster earlier and a damage set something comparable to snipers' sets, but just atk and element stuff. Al xtals should be 6 yellow lines imo, unless a 2nd al xtal page is available for a summoning set. Edit - maybe it's too early to jump into the class for now. Who knows? Maybe we'll need crt later on like what happened to bk?

Remember that summoner is incomplete class. When first time released, many people tought that necro supposed to be has balanced Atk & matk. But after they got new skills, they become more matk reliant. Same case with bk which before skill update they mostly spam tyrant edge which not affected by CRT.
Lets see lv 260 summoner skill to make final conclusion. But considering the result above, probably summoner is magic type hunter xD

They released again the Summoner Box today, that is misterious, when they released Necromancer they did the same with Necromancer Box. I hope that means they will put Summoner soon in Eng Iruna.

They released again the Summoner Box today, that is misterious, when they released Necromancer they did the same with Necromancer Box. I hope that means they will put Summoner soon in Eng Iruna. Lol, I hope that its sign from asobimo that they will release skill adjusment + new job 😂😂😂
