Here's the original thread irunaonline.boards.net/thread/2748/full-auto-high-dps-class
tldr: Need a Glad built that: Will NOT need to be managed - i.e. auto-attacks w minimal to no input from player once engaged with the mob(s) Minimal concern with survival as he will most likely be with a Bish AT ALL TIMES that will do its best to tank the mob(s) or rain continuous heals on Glad (will probably need Some hp, for AoE dmg) Unless he's DMG is strong enough that he can take aggro from a Bish Tank, most likely will have little use for Counter Decent but not "prime" gear, as I am poor lol, so can't have a gear-specific build
Please feel free to add anything that I may not even have thought of. I've only considered creating a Glad about two days ago so not really familiar with the class.
TIA!

I don't know why you would shy away from berserk build. It's technically an auto attack, you just need berserk for ASPD buff. Red Tengu, Shiorito/Schwarts, horned helm up, knight gauntlet/atleta ring with Boss Colon don't cost much for a starter gear. Paired with a healer with bless for MP can take on most bosses (if not all) at a decent pace grind. Glad will tank instead of bishop for better DPS with counter (faster kill). Most Glads with berserk build can solo many bosses for grind. It's even easier with a bishop as a duo

Chuck it to ignorance on my part, lol. Thanks for the reply!
So basic berserk build, str/cri/vit?
Edit: doesn't counter need to be recast every time?

Miligrito, thoughts on barbaro axe w a Str build? Vs red tengu

Miligrito, thoughts on barbaro axe w a Str build? Vs red tengu They're both ok although red tengu is easily preferred because -30crit rate is quite heavy penalty especially if you are not max crit rate yet (which is the usual case for lower levels). You might need technique ability to cover the penalty, but again, at lower levels, technique will be better help in your DPS if used in maxing your rate first rather than covering penalties. Once you have overflow on your crit rate, you can consider weapons or xtals with minus crit rate (like cerberus/schlingel etc.) Red tengu has a hidden ability that recovers HP by chance per kill so it can also be good for mob grind. So Red Tengu is a good choice until you know better.

Thanks Miligrito, again!! Got a 180+8 Red Tengu s Schlingel. I started to go with 2str:1crit but I noticed I was missing a lot, so I'm slotting my other gear with hit20 for now; even with just 2, they seem to help and I miss less (esp since I am fighting mobs that's more appropriate to my HW/AppBish. I think I still need to up my Crit some more, since Max str won't do me a lot of good if I am missing LOL
Any tips on armor? He'll need some HP, for AoE dmg so I am shooting for IronUp, and a S bangle. What's good add'l?

Get a helshaft sword it adds +30 crit rate. You pair it with Shiorito/Dunkel/Schwartz to get around 45crit rate with 1 crt. Your priority stat at lower levels should be your survivability, which is VIT (to your desired amount), then CRT (preferrably to an amount enough to drop your Helshaft). And when you are already comfortable, you add STR for more damage. For HP+ additional you can get stier up, epaullete, bunny ears, etc. but you really shouldn't be using these if you have VIT. You should be focusing on boosting your DPS with horn helm/vanregal/gourd/etc.

L67 and back to 2Str:1Crit again. I'm not really playing this char yet, just leeching off my HW/Bish combo so not concerned with Vit (in fact, I am sporting a Sauro set lol). Even when I start, Survival should be a minimal issue as he'll be with a Bish or a HW at all times except for the rare solo-Mqs. Dunk is way off my price range, lol. And Scwartz has -30% HP which is troublesome (Need enough HP to survive AoEs) until I start putting in Vit. I am looking at Shiro/sword for now, but sporting a Iron armor (tb up'd). I'll look into Helshaft; all I have is a Red Tengu 180+8 Shlingel atm. And will probably get a Bunny and H Helm. Thanks!!!

Miligrito, when possible, can you say this again, in plain English (lol or Tagalog if you want )? What exactly does "get around 45 crit rate with 1 crit" mean? As in my crit rate will go up by 45 when I add 1 crit stat (with the gear mentioned)? And where do I see this on the char sheet?

It means you can get 45 rate even If you dont add crt. +30 from helshaft +10 from armor = 40. All of us start with a base rate of 5. You get 1 rate more per 3crt. technique ability adds 5rate per level so It really Isnt hard to up your rate with gear.

Hahaha lol ok, I guess I was over thinking it! @ L91, I now have 145 Str and 134 Cri with Tengu+Shlingle, ScwartzUp+BC. still trying for a H HelmUp+BC. What would you recommend for spc gear? I Was just looking at Atleta, but it has -30% to Hit? Im usually sporting a S Bangle since I have 3K HP with it lol

Argh, again I don't understand lol Sorry, but isn't my Hit rate what determines if my attack lands??? Which would include crit attacks? Again I may just be over thinking this, but it almost sound like you're saying my Crit attacks are not depended on Hit rate?

U dont need dex if u get good Crit stats. Crit doesn't miss when it hits. So u will save points by skipping dex. Many Glads r Agil, Crit. Then other stats r Vit, Str. This method goes for all builds that are Agil, Crit. Dex is mainly Magic and Bow users.
