if you ask me iruna has too high spina supply that results to higher prices mostly comes from items sold to the npc, gold nuggets, mob drops, etc ... they're doing this to reduce overall supply of spina, same with the 5m worth of skills for lvl300+.... atleast this shows that asobimo is still concerned with newer players who can't afford ultra appreciated items, and could only buy depreciated items with sellers that only pops out once or twice in rokoko

Senseless to baby newcomers. Its a grinding game. Hold their hand once theyll want it for the rest of their iruna stint.

Senseless to baby newcomers. Its a grinding game. Hold their hand once theyll want it for the rest of their iruna stint. For a newbie lvl1-70(raid still not unlocked) pao is supposed to be a decent equip but now it is worth 1m, in which as i remember around these lvls 20k(baum splinter stck) is expensive enough; farming it would take too long, for finding pt for low lvl players is not as easy as it was when this was newly released. Imagine your a newbie knight trying to farm BC, you need a cleric and a wiz atleast to farm smoothly, unless these 2 are your really close friends, they won't stick with you farming for hours on end, and would take hours to find a replacement if one leaves.. Thus forcing them to do odd jobs and raids which is extremely monotonous and boring (boss farming is more exiting) **in raids its also extremly frustraiting for newbies to be kicked out of group chats and being called noob Drives of newbies are "to catch up" to the top players as compared to the drives back then of "discovery" as skills, bosses, and items are newly released In coordination with the previous statements newbie grinding is not fun, and most who play to have fun and would lead to quitting All games needs a steady influx of newbies to thrive, and as you can see it is already in a decline (very few newbies farming baum and rockers) It is nice to see that asobimo is still finding ways to continue this outdated game. It sad to think that eng servers would close without us, the players, seeing the true ending of this game.

Imagine all those pickaxes baught, plus all those 10m eaten by the npc... Let us not forget the asobimos statement: We are planning to hold more campaigns in future. We will announce when the details are decided Its good that they're taking action compared to non at all, and keep prices inflating

Since most people make more than 2 abilties it will make a difference, even if its small The only difference i want now is for qc price to drp though q.q

(40m per auto spec) in the future highlevels will resell auto on spec at like quadruple that price. soooo its just a fun little event imo. nothing to read into as far as helping lowbies and reducing the basically infinite spina supply. no one spends to make a loss btw, business 101 - its all about the profits

the start of every new event is a good chance for newbies to earn spina. that's how i earned my spina when i was a newb. for example, back when setsubun event was still new, i farmed heaps of the event item sets and sold them at a good price, not because asobimo decided to make an event to help newbs - it's because high levels aren't bothered to farm all the mobs with different elements, and since they have the spina, they just buy these sets instead of wasting time.
the same is happening for this magic star sand event. newbies that were raiding and selling last night got to sell each old empty book for 2-1m. and when i stopped playing yesterday, the book has already dropped to a steady price of 700k.
overall, high levels would earn the big money in the long run since they are the ones taking a 10m risk to create the abilities, something the newbies probably would not be able to do if they didn't have the money to gamble with in the first place (as the ability has a high chance of failing).
