Minstrel
This class is recommended for love the role of supporting and fighting in parties, being mostly party dependent. It is also for those of whom who're patient, having to wait for around 8-10 seconds per song to cool down thus, being vulnerable to incoming attacks. But, it can also be seen that the Minstrel is a bit versatile - having offensive and/or defensive potentials when done right (In my opinion). In addition, Minstrels have no weapon mastery! This adds more versatility into the minstrel!
About Minstrel song skills:

There is one additional drawback to minstrel songs other than the skill delay and that is the maximum amount of songs that can take effect: two (2). Therefore, strategize your songs to maximize your party's (or your own) potential!
About MP of Minstrel song skills:
My builds don't focus on reduced MP consumption. Why? There is a skill called Dream Song, which reduces all skills MP use to 1 - but raises skill delay (see "About Dream Song"). In my opinion, focus on raising your HP because each song, other than Humming, eats 10% of your HP - which is real bad if you have low maximum HP. So to counter that, I decided to curve it using my own ways. Raise your maximum HP so that when you use a song, you would have a pool of HP (enough to survive - survivability factored by your skill, in my opinion).
About Builds, Equips and Spina:
I did not factor the financing part, therefore, spina is not a factor. These are all my opinions - this is from my gameplay perspective. Most of these equips are currently released - it will be updated if more efficient equipment(s) come out. The possibilities of different builds are INFINITE. It's your gamestyle! These are just the basic builds and equipments (in my opinion).
About Song Buffs (those released in English servers):
Passionate Song - Efficient for melee classes, buffing their base ATK and base ASPD
Life Song - Efficient for most classes, dramatically increasing their base HP
Wisdom Song - Efficient for magic classes, buffing their base MATK and base ASPD
Dream Song - Efficient for heavy MP use classes, decreasing their skill MP use to 1, but unfortunately, increasing skill delay by 1 to 1.5 seconds.
About Dream Song:
Although Dream Song sounds divine and all, it is not recommended, from my perspective, for buffing classes that depend on decreased skill delays (e.g. Sniper for Arrow Rain, Assassin for Backstab, Ninja for Bunshin no Jutsu, Desperate Move, and Dance of Clones, etc.). I've tested this before and it was a pain in the ass to wait for cool down to finish.

About Humming:
A song that heals the HP and MP of the party by a small amount - only healing the HP of the user. The only skill (at the moment) that doesn't eat 10% of your HP. It can come in handy...especially when wizard runs out of MP for some reason and HP is low...use humming several times and wizard should be ready to feed MP to party. I don't know how you would perceive this skill, but this is how I view it.
About Dragon Song:
A party dependent attack song that eats 300 MP and 10% of your HP - does damage according to the amount of members within your party. From what it could be seen, it is ATK based and CRT [and INT?] based, too. Great for
supporting the party with damage, but not solo.

How it all comes down
Attacking with this set is meaningless, as I have little to no attack potential (because of the Metalbrow crysta). I am to support my team from the back lines, singing to support. As the aggression of our target thwarts towards I, I am to switch to the HP set to stand the ground until I lose the aggression of my target. It is not recommended for me to pose as a meat shield to protect the allies for I do not have strong capable parrying and defense abilities as thine Paladin and copies of I such as, the Ninja and the elusive evasive capabilities as my fellow Assassin.
"Dragon Song Minstrel"
AGI = CRT = DEX or STR
I am attracted to abandon my defensive qualities to combat alongside thy ally/allies at full force. I therefore use my quick senses to attempt to evade the incoming. I use the Song of Dragon, power of which varied by the members of party, to inflict the heavy damage, decimating my target. I am to love the special bow and nail for it increases the output of my damage.

How it all comes down
I have low HP and defense, therefore, I am to stay at the back and ward off the aggression of my target within the party. I use my evasive capabilities to aid in my survival. I prioritize myself the damage, automatically attacking target and to aid with the Song of Dragon within the party to inflict massive damage. The skill delay of songs are horrid, therefore, I must time the cast to reduce vulnerability. I am notified to hold back at majority time and use special bow to avoid the area of effect of target, if any. Nail, use at risk.
"Counter-Offensive Counter-Defensive Minstrel"

I am attracted to the tanking aspect and support of the party although I am not the paladin or ninja. Indeed, my damage is minute but, I have the trick of the sleeve: counterattacking and autoskill. I am too absorb the damage and combat against the target with autoskill counterattack. In addition, I support myself through the offensive autoskill - to deal the damage by chance through my hits. I, too, have to occupy in the party for the support of the healer.

How it all comes down
I have higher defensive qualities than the rest of build for minstrel. I stand in the front lines, absorbing damage and provoking my target to ward thy away from the ally. To absorb damage and to then counter with the magic counter-skill and offend with the autoskill - a combination of defense and offence. I am to think not I have higher defensive capabilities of the paladin and enchanter. I, just like all, am party dependent - to be healed by healer and support. I, too, can support the party with my songs to increase party potential.
"Dragon Song Minstrel"

How it all comes down
I come on the battlefield, to stay back in line - support by the damage of song (Song of Dragon) and buffer effect of song, to increase status of party and I, and to not thwart the aggression of my target towards I (When in party), for I have low HP. For when aggression targets me, I switch to the HP gear and attempt to lose the aggressiveness of my target towards me (when in party). I attempt to maximize the power of the Dragon Song, increasing mine attack and critical and to do so, defensive capabilities are to lower. This, could be combated through the switch of attack gear to HP - increasing survivability but lowering the attack power. The power of the throw - to attack from a distance and resist urge to advance to front of line. Regular attacks lag - as attack speed is of lowest although the damage is of decency. Party dependent. To increase the attack speed, equip the Auler and to utilize the Song of Compassion to increase the damage output and the attack speed rate.
"VAMPIRE MINSTREL"
INT > STR or VIT > STR or VIT (STR if VIT is already chosen for second stat, VIT if STR is already chosen for second stat) > DEX > AGI or CRT
(Lol, I made this build at the top of my head - funny topic, lol...in the end, it was tested and worked out pretty fine, in my apsect, that is) I am attracted to the high HP and the capability to drain the HP of my opponent - to in addition, use the song buff to increase potential of class and to support the party, too. Party dependent, I am, for the wizard and healer to increase aid in recover of MP. I could be independent, with the high HP and high MP from VIT and INT - a high defence. I use the various weapons to aid absorption and Skill Delay and Cast Speed of Song of Dragon, to be used in case.

How all this comes down
My position is versatile in the battlefield - out back, to reduce aggression of Area of Effect of my target and to distance attack automatically and to apply Song of Dragon to inflict damage, in addition to buffing my party. In front, to act as tank if desired - to in addition, apply the Vampire Blow to my target and to heal myself and to utilize the effect of such weapons as Caduceus and Lamia for further HP absorption. I should not think I can overcome all like for I do have the defence and HP and parry and aggression attraction of the paladin and the highest of DPS. There, the trick: reduce the hate of myself when up front with the tank in a party - near my target, to be able to absorb HP without losing HP in the process - to fall back and attempt to lose aggression in the party if such instance to occur on myself. I also use the bow and throwing, to distance attack - especially the Diabolos, reduces hate of my target to myself. In such dangerous case, to use the HP set to increase survivability.
"Dragon Song Minstrel (Magic Bow Revision)"
