Enchanter Guide(Outdated but some info still relevant)

Builds at higher levels:

There are a lot of options at higher levels, at least for DEX builds.

DEX: 70+ DEX is a good amount. With newer enemies to fight(mostly regular mobs, not bosses) 70 DEX is pushing it for being able to hit certain things. Such as Tormentors which drop Ciel. Gauntlet+ helps a lot with this though. You will probably be able to figure out if you want more DEX or not at this point. You will be around level 150 when you have 70 DEX.

AGI: 135+. Max this if you are going to use Staff with Magic Amp

VIT: This is the stat that is best left for after you have Max INT, 135+ AGI, and 70+ DEX. You won't be tanking at all until 160+ pretty much and you will survive as a DPS role pretty easily before then anyways on level appropriate stuff. At 180+ is when Enchanters become great at tanking.

CRT builds are fairly straight-forward as opposed to DEX builds I believe. If any CRT Enchanters have any advice please feel free to share
Mostly somewhere along the lines of 200-256 INT(if you wanna add CRT sooner), 135 AGI(enough for ASPD), max CRT

Tanking on an Enchanter!

Tanking is not viable at all until 160+ and doesn't get really good until 180+. This is because there isn't enough stat points at lower levels and you are missing important skills that help with tanking. Stoneskin is at 160 and it acts like a 2nd layer of HP. It is a pretty small amount so those bosses hitting like 20k will still kill you in one hit without higher HP. Origin is at 180 and basically halves the amount of damage you take from most bosses. Yes its basically half. It only works on Fire, Wind, Water, and Earth element bosses, those are your specialty. Also you need enough AGi for max ASPD WITHOUT ASPD GEAR. You also need enough VIT to survive harder hits so you can use autoskill gear to help you keep hate. Using w/e weapon, Bunny Ears, Iron Armor UP, S Bangle will not let you keep enough hate for most parties. Keeping hate is Enchanters biggest problem when it comes to tanking. We can absolutely great at it though. Most of the bosses we can tank we can tank without heals or MP heals or Para. Bosses like Ganei, Simcracker, Jabek, Azimov, Mezzaluna(need more HP for her or she kills at the beginning), or Ziddu. We can tank everything before Ganei without heals too(obviously). If you do have a bishop with you it could heal the melee DPS you have with you instead of focusing on you.

Gears now!

Tanking:

Weapon: Best Crystals to use are Provoke Auto(only use one), Kaphar, HP 20%
Basically it's better not to use a sword here because you want a faster drain cast. Flabellum is another good option here. Canes can be good too but require more AGI to use

Body Armor: Best Crystal to use is Simcracker, otherwise use HP 20%
DPR- Still probably the best option here, helps you keep hate, which is the main issue
Iron Armor UP- To use on bosses who spam stun or when you need more HP
Plate Armor UP- To reduce damage

Additional: Best crystals to use are Provoke Auto(only use one), Kaphar, HP 20%
Ciel- Helps a lot with keeping hate from what I've noticed. I guess the extra autoskill cast helps
Wolf ears/lion shield- They have hate rise so that will help
Anything with HP if you need it

Special Equip: Best Crystals to use are Provoke Auto(only use one), Kaphar, HP 20%
Lotus Seeds: Helps keep hate
Seahorse Bangle: Not recommended really since you need to be able to keep hate and this doesn't help at all

Leveling advice to 140 and beyond!

80-120: Be like everyone else, do ATG or MQ. Pretty simple here. Shouldn't be too hard to find a party as a wizard. Theres also Evil vibes if you want to solo

120-140: Best exp will be from Naga quest. The problem is App Enchanters have a hard time getting and keeping a party here. Do not melee at this time without at least having Hexe Espada(enhanced), DPR, Booster, and Lotus seeds, your damage will probably be horrible if you don't at least have that. It would be best to have Ciel instead of Booster at this point if you want to melee. Also around 120 AGI or so you don't need to Drain Nagas, just use Mini Heal to keep your HP up. If you find yourself dying still while doing that by all means use Drain still.

140-160: Just keep doing Nagas. Unless you have tickets or a lot of EXP books, then you could go to Ghost Lanterns. Matar is alright too but Nagas always seemed faster to me anyways. Megaroche if you find a party that will take you. Monsters in the Valley is good too.

160+: Megaroche or High Ents. Nagas are still slower than them even without tickets. Monsters in the Valley might be able to keep can still be good.

Your build seems more like a tanky build haha. I would get a DPR definitely if you don't have one. You probably don't need to put a Tarante on it, you barely need more than one of those for most stuff that you will be leveling on. Flabellum is probably better than Fuma for enchanters. For the most part you will only be using t knife and sinbad when you are tanking, so those are good places for provoke auto. Dia espada will pretty much always out damage Sinbad.

When you are doing Nagas you should be able to get away with using full dps gear. If not use S bangle, ciel, and dpr. Same goes with Matar, sauro, and einhorn(well maybe iron armor on einhorn). Opis and boss colon you can use full dps gear I think.

Magic amplifier only works with rods, keep that in mind. So it isn't all that fantastic since Witch knife is pretty crappy.

Regular attack: 1-1.5k
Mana Waves: 2.8-3.5k
Enchant weapon: 3.3-6k

Silly thunderbolts doing low damage and earth pikes and fire lances doing a lot.

Oh I forgot to tell you the price haha. I think its about 2 mil for slot ciel. So it isn't outrageous or anything. You should be fine without the Kaise piltz, remember it does actually increase the amount of damage you take. Get separate HP gear for when you need more HP. I highly recommend lotus seeds. 5% autoskill is a lot better than what other special equips can do for damage.

As for why we do more damage than you. This is my gear:

Dia Espada +8 Kaiser, Ciel +6 FG, DPR +6 Kaiser, Lotus Seeds. My end goal is the have a 2 slot espada with 2 Isurugi xtals, ciel with kaiser, dpr with shojo, and lotus seeds with mezzaluna xtal.
