BTW, I have a question. Youre wearing +195% hate rise to test provoke on mobs, and get extra about 40 hate units. Does that mean if we use provoke without hate gear, we will get about 13.xx hate units? (I will call hate unit, just assumption, because we do not know the exact scale of hate.) +40 per provoke lvl4 without hate+%. This after doing more tests. I had to get values of highest DMG without hate and compared to highest DMG with provoke since the increment is small and can be easily confused with the rgn, since the rgn gap can be as much as around 50dmg due to high weapon atk.

Oh I see. With +195% hate rise gear, it becomes almost +120 hate units. Am I correct?(Just to make sure, I think I need some time to get in to this detail.)

I corrected the bonus from 195 to 200 since Rowell is +35. And in my subsequent tests I removed provoke ability since it doesn't really say how much hate it gives. I still need to run more tests since the hate value decays (decreases over time) and I have no aspd so it takes about 2secs before I attack mob from last provoke. So it might be higher than +40 per provoke.

This is quite interesting test for me. Your method of testing might be applied for finding the relationship between damage and hate unit in the future.

Well yes, hate of other skills can be derived from this but it is just quite hard to get exact figures due to rgn. We need to improve accuracy by removing the rgn, either by a skill, gear or maybe an autoskill that provides fixed damage value based on ATK.

If we use toy gloves without refined to test, is it rgn will be super low? You might test this already, but I have never focused on rgn before, just trying to help. >.<

OK so I also tried using a short sword atk:8. I get 40dmg per provoke.
Upon testing with some weapon switching, it showed that the rage force bonus is different per weapon. It doesn't mean that one weapon grants more hate. They just have different bonuses.

For your purposes wouldn't u need to know the hate value of heal?
Also i just say just use resu since low hp=high dmg, buff=no arrgo

It doesn't mean that one weapon grants more hate. They just have different bonuses. Just having one more idea,is that because of weapon type? (It might not, but we could try.) For example, rage force gives more bonus damage when using sword. So to prove this, we might test by using different types of low-attacked weapon.

I tried using toy glove provoke then switch short sword attack, I get +40dmg. I tried using short sword provoke, then switch toy glove attack, I get +25dmg. This comparing to their respective base attacks. I tried wooden cane +35dmg. Plywood bow is harder to test since it already has high attack, but I get somewhere around +45dmg. There are some margin for error due to my ATK al xtals which i try to negate with Quick cool but for purposes of displaying the margin of difference between weapons, it will suffice.

Also i just say just use resu since low hp=high dmg, buff=no arrgo I tried to get value of my heal lv.1 on megaroches, the damage does not increment until i start spamming heal. I get +4dmg every few heals or so (using toy gloves). I usually just ask for bless outside the boss fight. Someone tried to bless me in Sauro and got his attention, but then again, some just come in the map Sauro runs at them randomly. Perhaps everything is random if you are all in zero hate. It seems that most bishops I duo with don't have resu or don't want to. I never really ask for this buff, I assumed that if you are a bishop with resu you would use it at least once every few minutes and I never really check a bishop's level, since I'm not really picky when I party. I just use pots if the bishop is under performing.
