When you transfer ability, is there chance of degrading the equipments stat? Or does that only work for when you upgrade ability? The chances of transferring is so high that you could use a Damascus steel and probably still get 100%. I reckon you would have the same penalty as upgrading, but it is so easy to transfer 100% chance so why risk it? |

Hi! "Upon failing upgrading your ☆ Ability the weapon, armor or additional equipment will lose attack or defence, you will not lose your ☆ Ability Level." I tried upgrading my Boss Claymore Melee Defense Lv. 2 (2pcs) to Lv. 3 but when it failed (success rate at 90%), one of my b.claymore melee def lv. 2 DOWNgraded to melee def. Lv1 but the other retain its level. just to inform for those who are upgrading level 3 and above to be sure you have a success rate of at least 95% above imo. Thanks I experienced this too. The original info should be corrected. |

I realized that a High Mythril does not increase success rate but does something else (reduce chance of degrade I think). Has anyone figured out more on using other ores.

Hematite for example increases success rate whereas bead crysta reduces chance of degradation or something right? But even then it's usually at about 65%....and it doesn't show the degradation chance rate unless you choose something like bead crysta or high mythril ... So if you think about it would it make sense to assume a static 50% chance of degradation if it fails if no supporting ore is there? That would make sense.

just to inform for those who are upgrading level 3 and above to be sure you have a success rate of at least 95% above imo. Thanks This is good advice, but how do you get such a high success rate? As far as I know, ori gives the highest success rate but it can't achieve 95% success rate past lvl 2 |

idk if someone else posted this ididnt read back so sorry if i repeated it. has anyone noticed this? i upgraded my vitality ability to lvl 5 but when i put it on i only gained 312 hp, a guildie of mine put on a lvl 3 vit and only got about 200 hp increased. isnt the lvl 3 supposed to be hp+600, and vit lvl 5 is hp+ 920? o.o i tried using my hp lvl 4 ability to see if they were switched in the discriptions but it gave way less hp so iknow thats not it. was the jp wiki wrong? or did i just do something wrong xD edit: hp didnt go up by 500 only went up by 312  |

Guys it is well known that upgrades have a chance to delevel on failure but I did notice one trend. Attempting to upgrade a slot and failing can degrade it but I have never been degraded while using on a nonslot equip. Maybe only slotted equips degrade?
