Hello, I'm new to the game. I'm not always able to play long for me to party effectively. Wondering what is a good class for solo play? Also take in consideration that I'm just starting out so in poor.

Many will tell you ninja, I will tell you beast knight or paladin.beast knight as when you get app you get bite which is a passive skill which takes x amount of HP from enemy per crt or dbl atk. And I say paladin because, apart from pots, it's quite cheap to get the 1st set you need to get you started and on the way to get guardian(pals aoe skill) with the right equip it's very easy to solo with (as I have done) only trouble with these 2 is they can be slow to lvl, but so to can agi crt Ninja. Just have a look through the classes and some of the threads and see what you think might suit you best.

This is something that might hlp for bk or pal early lvls where I've put my own bit of input. MiLiGRiTo might have a point on minatour being out dated as you will see I list it in this thread, but personally I think as a cheap xtal to equip your gear with and for its ATL up by 1/4 of vit it is still useful for that extra bit of atk that will hlp kill the bosses quicker. irunaonline.boards.net/thread/15011/

It depends on what you want to solo and how you want to solo it.
For EXP here are the fast solo grinders: High Wizard: Get AOE's at 140 and continues to be great for EXP Bishop: 180+ Nemesis is ridiculous for grinding EXP Sniper: 240+ can do Crossfire and Area Rain spam for crazy AOE damage Anything besides those two that I can think of requires really good gear to solo grind EXP well but can be ridiculous lol
For Soloing MQ: Paladin: VIT builds can practically solo all of MQ from level 1 without caring Beast Knight: Same as Pally Enchanter: Has some rough spots and may need to level some but can still solo the majority of MQ High Wizard: Same as Enchanter Monk: Same again but needs more gear to do so Bishop/Servant: Can do it at a Snail's pace but still solo the majority without problems(counter set)
For Solo Boss Farming: Assassin: 240+ OP damage and they can get enough EVA to not get hit without AGI lol Monk: Needs high level and good gear but ends up as a fast soloer Enchanter(auto build): Same as Monk Ninja: Same as Monk(can solo without good gear but does it slowly then) Gladiator: Needs somewhere over 200 to solo really well Samurai: Needs tons of gear and levels to solo fast
I'd still say Minotaur isn't all that good even as a cheap xtal. I hardly see anyone selling them lol. Schlingel is a much better cheap option for damage and you are more likely to find a seller xD.

I like your post but seeing Paladin only listed under "Soloing MQ" is not fair ... (I will only speak about paladin because it is the only thing I play 99% of the time) Paladin 260+ can solo grind exp faster than in an average party (my personal experience)... and it doesn't need very powerful gear Paladin can solo boss farm ...

This is true. I forgot about oath xD. Before Oath I wouldn't put it as a top solo boss farmer though(way way too many pots to do this and slow kill speed). After Oath I can see it being in the contending for Solo boss farming considering I've seen a video of a Paladin one shotting Ushilith lol.

I one shot ushilith and dunkelis without any special overpowered gear... the trickiest is one shoting other elements third episode bosses... especially with all the new bad status... with those you can turn back to guardian... thick rev M is so easy to get now (heal 15% HP) or lacs seeds

nuts, and are mysterious nuts, can heal up to 5% hp, every 5 seconds for 5 minutes and also grants freeze resistance, how effective is it?
I use one at jacbos (is it correct?) and start spamming guardian like crazy, once it runs out of effect I'm still at 95% of my max hp
I use it at my newest mq, and it is the only potion I use
when I'm at exhaustion state, it still heals as much as always, over 7k every 5 secs (valued for 5m a stack)

Auto attack enchanter also good in solo (generally there are 2 type of enchanter, magic blade spammer and autoskill type) ONLY if you have good equipments, and believe me, it's not cheap.
Well, just for you to know, autotype enchanter can -solo all mq bosses (Only with the right gear) I soloed all of my mq boss after i reached lvl 180. -solo almost all bosses in iruna (including maze and divine tower bosses, not including event bosses) eventho it will take a bit longer to kill some bosses, especially dark/light/neutral element bosses. Boss i can't solo atm is almas (and only that). This means, you can be a good tanker in party too. My goals in iruna is only to take down every boss by myself without getting killed no matter how long it takes to kill it. -do solo grinding really fast. With my equipment right now, and lvl 260 skill, i can kill yarde 7-15s, baum warrior 5-10s. (i only grinding those two) -be independent class that doesn't really need potion except when soloing a hard boss

If you don't plan to spend a lot of time on playing the game, you really have close to no option. Many already mention classes that only work well at super high level or need top-class gears. I assume you are newbie and don't sit on top of tons of spina. You will most likely give up if you choose sniper, assassin, samurai, enchanter. Yes, when I was newbie, I tried all these 4 and gave up before lv 200. Simply because it is very hard to grind at low level and also hard even when you rush mq - see how many newbies stuck around saterica mq.

Ninja. Decent even with cheap equips. Claw nin is retarded until doc and even then, unless your happy to try for I think 4 clone doc spam you could get away with (IDK Max to legit spam...) but it will never be a real high damager, it's just the laziest option out there. For spec bow your gonna need likely a few ganai after 200 (60m worth) and the bows aren't that cheap either. There are other options for the build like normal bow and magic(throw)build But what ever way you look at it, any class that you want to get the most out of is gonna take some time and effort (and spina q.q )

So are Schwartz, Gring, Mring, Bone Bangle, Cnail. It may yeild low damage but it does the job. I'm taking into consideration that the op's a newbie and looking for an easy class to play.
