I was hoping someone else would pick up the topic, but since it didnt happen here we go. Looking over some of the posts in the "Annoying things people do" thread we notice that many complains happen because people dont really know how to act when you are in party with them. They might make unreasonable requests, unintentionally get the party killed, etc.. So, why dont we compile everything we would like to say to our party members in a thread where people could look for tips to improve on their game play when in a party? That is the goal here. im tired of some ninjas who block gladiators and paladins from casting warcry in the party because they claim it will make them unable to make 9 clones. Better solution: Don't stand near a Nin when you cast = you wont get "hate" . Taadaa. Sort of a 50/50 on the blame, tbh. Bottom line is, if your not tanking, the ability to clome doesn't effect u unless u spam doc, and if u spam doc u use 3 clones anyway, and if you die because of war cry, its not buffed... If your not the one tanking it makes 0 sence to say no warcry...you get +12% atk and argo isint your problem so u can use atk gears instead of hate gears. Gladi on the other hand... You can either slow the pt down by no warcry, or speed it up using it, wc lvl 4 is out, i'll accept +20% free atk over hearing "x.x cant clone.." I think we play in party so we can kill boss faster. And EVERY CLASS NEED TO OBSERVE AND ADAPT in order to achieve that goal. If a person keep wanting to showing off their damage/skill while not seeing overall party damage, then better leave pt. I think it wont hurt to experimenting 1-2 round of boss so all pt member know which is faster, buff casted or not. Edit: Oh, and there's exist a situation where pt consist of gladi and other classes with damage much lower than ninja. Maybe because huge level gap, maybe because the difference of equipment quality. In this case, please hold ur warcry for party sake I get complaints if I use origin cuz some ppl have no idea... had a ninja say don't buff him.. right as I hit him with autoskill and enchant weapon. He got pissed cuz he said he didn't need it. Oh well I'm not waiting 6 min for u to lose buff let's go buddy! when ppl shout MP! right after boss boom (1hp 0mp) i need hp and mp to recharge u see x.x These were the complaints/advice posted on that other thread. Feel free to add your tips, tricks, advice, complaints about pt members, etc... I'll add some advice of my own later.

The first and most important thing for party playing is being aware what the other classes you're in a party with. There are several party formations and styles.
If the tank is a ninja, you should prioritize mp heal on the damage dealer.
If the tank is a paladin, all heals and rebuffs should be focused on them.
If the tank is an enchanter you should focus the hp heals on them as they can tank while mp'ing the party(however this is difficult)
To be honest you can't give general tips to better party playing as it depends on the party setup.

Well for starters just wanna say I barely pt randoms because mostly everyone has a call of duty mind set rushing in and atking. Now that's outta the way my tip is to be aware on who you with and make sure everyone is buffed nicely res etc. Healer focus on tank. Mp is in check. Make sure the tank gains hate first before dps starts rushing can't count on how many times pt died because some person goes Rambo on boss e.e. Bring pots you should be responsible to at have some sort of it if hp 1 mp1. You want boss runs to be smooth you do these. Just my two cents. I always look for teamwork in a farm this is what I look for.

Good idea for a thread o.o
If your pt leader you need:
Tank
Dps
Healer
Then if your dps isint a hw, u need another dps,a hw, or a mins
3 ninjas and a pally never worked. 2 bishops and 2 pallys never worked, 4 assassins...well... Nvm that works if one can heal..
If you expect me to spend 3m on stacks of onigiri just to be in your party cuz you wont inv a bish...
Kakakakafakau
Also, if you pick ninja over monk/sin/sniper/gladi for dps slot...
t(o.o you need to learn classes...

1. This issue is less frequent but I'll bring it up anyway. Paladins (usually) have lots of hp! I sometimes find bishops waiting till you have 50% hp left then heal ONCE ( 3k-10k heals if I party random people). I know you're likely use to just healing once and solving everyone's problems but paladins can have 100k+ hp so heal till its full!
2. I've been in so many of what I like to call "awkward parties" for example: healer=paladin, dps=hw/bs sin, tank=counter enchanter (we won that fight btw). Just...don't xD. I love the imagination but feel free to ask your party which classes you should add cuz at least one person should know how to form a pt.
3. All mage classes can heal. heals can revive. Minstrel, though magical, is not a mage class.
4. sh means speed hack. I'm not shushing you haha.
Just a couple basics and specifics I see now and then.

My advice, know your classes you choose, what you need to avoid or how to counter them, for a ninja complaining on a warcry I wont sacrifice 400+ atk just because you complain.
You picked ninja its your responsibility to negate your HP by 90% or whatsoever not anyone else.
Ninja has many flaws to counter since its a solo artist class.
Always remember bring vaccines and cures.
Because I always encounter ninja who always die just because of ailments not only once but all the time ailment occurs meaning they dont have cure.
For Gladi if you have a Pally on party dont bother using your guard because Pally Guard is more advance than ours. (Was my habit to guard even theres pally xP)
Vice versa when it comes to our warcry.

1)Know the classes in your party 2)If you are a Bishop and an Enchanter or Paladin is tanking, you need to heal them. You can let their HP drop a bit and be fine but they aren't Ninjas that just need Res. It's easier to keep Enchanter and Pally alive with heals than Res. 3)Hwiz should be using Tbolt to Paralyze bosses if needed. Enchanters tanking usually won't be as on top of MP heals as you can be. 4)If you can't tank the boss don't attack it first. Wait until Paladin uses Guardian or Enchanter uses Magic Blade. If Ninja they will probably open with DoC 5)Don't expect a Pally to tank without a healer, and on difficult stuff don't expect an Enchanter to either. 6)Don't all be Ninjas

I'm an enchanter and I usually will open with Ignition (I don't have Magic Blade yet). And I do need heals mainly cuz I'm a hybrid of both tank and dps... Thanks for this ^_^

Personally my ninja doesn't have a problem with wc /bless or any buff for that matter it's honestly on the ninja cause they refuse to bend for other people. And they can DPs pretty damn well but like any class you really gotta work on your class and learn the advantages and disadvantages of it then figure out what classes compliment your class and you'll be able to form a fast and effective party depending on what you're doing. I guess all and all to form a good party is realize your weak points and stabilize it with complimentary classes (also ench is awesome in pt)

The first point sticks me hard, and reminds me something long time ago. I help a new bishop in my guild doing a mq. He didn't heal me until my hp around 50%. Then ,he started spamming heal on me. Imagine 150k HP pally with around 50% HP left, and bishop who heal 6k on me. That is bad because I have to start spamming provoke as well. T-T

Here's a very specific tip. When your the Mp healer for farming Isurugi, when he does the Mp drain and Hp debuff always Mp heal yourself first to immediately cancel the effect, then Mp the healer, then the Dps, then the tank. All too many times I see Mp healers go for the Bishop first, take a death, then the bishop revives them and then they heal everyone else. That dying is wasted time. I guess it doesn't matter anymore since its rare to see parties farming him nowadays, still something that always bugged me though.

To all the Clerics and Bishops, you can cast Heal and Resu from max range without ever gaining aggro.
To all the tanks, if your on a small boss map, and you know there's even a chance to losing aggro to heal spam, take the boss to the very edge of the map so that the above trick can work.

The healing part is not correct, I guess. Even the farthest range, spamming heal still gains aggro, but healing and running out of range will cancel all the aggro if doing it quick.

im a gladiator lv260+ 1.if you are a ninja, bring light green egg in case of my warcry lv4 (give extra MaxHP+20%) buff makes you cant make 9 clones. light green egg heals 1% MP and reduce 1% HP every second 10 times. refer picture below to see which mob drop it. 2. if you are gladiator below lv260 or paladin/beast knight (regardless lv), no need to recast your warcry lv2/warcry lv3 because my warcry lv4 is better. just ask to me to rebuff if the buff is over. 3. if you are cleric/bishop/monk/servant, no need to cast bless/divine bless/anything similar to it because my regenerate skill regen HP bigger. i have no issue with normal heal. for bishop, no need to recast the AOE divine bless buff on me unless the buff time on someone else is over and need a recast. i will recast my regenerate skill myself if AOE divine bless buff get on me. 4; please bring some backup HP&MP potions and vaccines during MQ party. dont just rely on hunter/sniper/assassin/lv260 bishop for ailment resistance and MP healers to refill your MP, even MP healers can run out MP if the boss have MP delete attack and hunter/sniper/assassin/lv260 bisho could die anytime in party. thats all for now i guess. will edit later if have more.
