Just noticed this sword It should be available from Bailune Blacksmith (but not yet released): It might be an interesting sword for normal sword users, since it seems like it is a fire sword with ATK + 16% !! physical penetration +5% !! and increase in ATK by VIT x.X (Translation is awful)

Per my tests, Oath's damage multiplier is affected by equipment refine. So make your weapons/armors +9 to get best damage results. The refine values are only part of the multiplier so it concludes that the formula is more complex than I initially thought. From my data I get: +2 multiplier if my weapon is +9 +7 multiplier if my armor is +9 +5 multiplier if my add gear is +9 I have yet to determine how these values are computed. Test were done via forest spirit vs earth mobs (I have yet to try with grim reaper vs dark mob). I get 132 oath damage when +0 equips and 146 oath damage when +9 equips (regardless of def, or atk) If mokie (98dmg on high def) and asteg (200+ dmg on high def) and other pallys can share their data (level,stats, equips) using the same method we should be able to decode this or at least have an assumption on what affects it.

Also, you cant accurately say +9 weap adds a multiplier, +9 vs. +0 is a 1.9 multiplier itself if i remember right

I dont have time to make a add +9 x.x we need to pick a mob/boss to test on so we have the same def mob We don't need to find a same def mob if you can use a forest spirit against any earth mob or a grim reaper on any dark mob, it will do, since it will automatically disable any amount of damage into 1dmg (due to -100% elemental penalty). This will single out the multiplier of the oath damage, since whatever value that pops out is the multiplier (since it multiplies 1dmg). Am I making any sense? I feel like I made it alot more confusing. BTW, you don't need to +9 for the test. Use all +0 is ok too and will bring much better result because you eliminate the factors of refine on the multiplier.

>.< i just feel like ur dmg to dedron vs dmg to buam warrior would differ Well normally it would have different damage, which is why i use to test with the penalty from forest spirit, so we can control the damage since they will all be 1dmg. This has also confirmed that melee/melee pierce does not affect oath damage, you will deal pierce damage via normal attack but your oath damage will remain the same 1dmg x (your oath multiplier). You just need to be careful about fire elemental bonus in your gear. Although forest spirit says "no damage to earth", what it technically does is apply "-100% earth element". So if you use a vritra, the penalty becomes -80% and produce damage.

Does the multiplier have a random!y generated number? There is a random number in the whole formula but it is also affected by elemental so with the penalty they all sum up to 1dmg. I assume that the rgn is (0 to (weapon atk/5)) need more testing though. The multiplier is fixed until you change something (which is what I am trying to get. We know now that refines affects this but it is just a small part of the multiplier). I refer to this as the oath multiplier. There is another multiplier depending on the amount of hp you have left. This will also show when you conduct the test but it can easily be controlled by maintaining full hp (ensure that there is not even 1dmg when oath triggers). I refer to this as the hp multiplier. The max value per my tests is around +42%. The oath multiplier and hp multiplier is not random and is unaffected by the elemental (they get calculated after applying elemental factor).

Ah ok i understand now, so u want the full hp dmg multiplier? I can test litch +6 vs litch +9 for armour and replica+8 vs anything +0
Is that what u need or should i do something diffrent?
