not too sure, but my pet's level drop sometimes when i feed it... maybe it cant keep eating same food x.x This happened to my golem as well. I guess it means that you have to keep all stats balanced or the pet level will drop. Or it could mean its tired of eating that lol (becomes picky haha) very possible suggestion as well.. hmm the pet game mechanics are tough to decipher.. will see if i can find out when and what causes pet level drop

Either way we need to find out about this soon as it could be an issue eventually.

XD

This is my guess = -= So, as we all know, feeding your pets can increase and decrease their stats. Mythril increases int and vit, but decreases dex and crt. Ori increases str, int, and vit, but decreases agi, dex, crt. Island attributes can ever so slightly increase and decrease your pet's stats. I'm not sure how, but I'm sure of it lol. I think the best way to stop 'unleveling' is just to look at the pet food status change page on the new wiki, or feed your pet pet food

What I have noticed is that a pet lvl is based on the accumulated stats so when I change the food I use insed of it gaining exp and lvling it drops lvl so the pet is not so much as getting pick as it is just responding different to the different pet food. For example I used a colon in my experiment cuz its stat growth is equal across the bored. I fed it nothing but flower nectar in till lvl 8 and then I started using spicy syrup thinking that it would boost his stats more but instead it dropped hit stats by a lot and he went from lvl 8 to lvl 7 but when I fed I'm flower nectar he went back to lvl 8 and I though that was odd so I did it again and as I suspected he dropped down to lvl 7 so I tested another theory but it was a bit inconclusive because he did not drop a lvl he stayed the same. But any way tobsum up what I'm trying to say is that pets don't become "picky" that just respond differently to certain types of food well at least in my experience they do

Havnt fed my pet in a month and it still levels if you keep up the training. Let it rest for a day for some stamina and right back to training. Never fed my roar lol and its now lvl 14 Yh but if you feed it gelatine or my new found ultr pet food white Popsicle it lvls once a day and has full stamina/affinity. With full affinity and stamina the pet will gain more exp and lvl more my roar is lvl17 and has 70 int 20 dex 20 agi and I fed it wrong so most of it stats were negative so if I'd done it right it would have been higher. It also heals for a decent amount and has a fair bit of hp. It's the same with my enckels so feeding it every day has its perks. Gelatine works on both my pets and it's easy to get same with white Popsicles. This also means that you don't need to stop and let it rest
