I have to lol at this skill sometimes...
I turned on the battle log the other day, normally I leave it off, and after some observation I noticed it's damage seems to be completely random.
Example, it would do 70-80k then drop to 50-60k then go up to 90-110k. Other times it would do around the same numbers but in reverse.
So my question is if there is any one who has figured out a means of stabilizing the damage, or willing to help participate in testing to find the stat which reduces the randomness of this skill.
Thanks for reading/replies ^^

I think that's just how it like hws eq inconsistency. Either that or how many pulls you get in special status is a factor. I'm not really sure myself lol but I notice sometimes if I didn't pull for a couple due to lag it does a 90-100k maybe due to makin up for lost dmg? Again I'm just basing off of personal experience. Maybe jahleel07 knows.

We'll figure it out someday.

Maybe jahleel07 knows. Minor segue but EQ dmg is not random; it varies depending on how many targets are actually hit. Other wise - all else being equal, EQ will do fairly consistent dmg vs the same number of (same) mobs.

Confirmed crossfire is consistently random regardless of how many mobs are being hit.
Someone suggested Crit rate...

So hard to find formula to count cf damage, i just know damage cf is base on ur atk, element mobs (if u have elemental gears),and ailment status in mobs u.u

I know this old post but.... I noticed crt rate also makes minstrel song dragon newt song hit higher or lower damage. Think there is a range of high and low hits possible for normal hits and crt hits range high and low... Sound plausable?

When I restated to 100 IgR I tried Area rain/crossfire with 1 CRT so I can confirm crit rate/dmg only affect the Area rain.
Seems the highs and lows are based on atk, but it's still a mystery. Maybe the formula just uses a lot of random values.
