I see many max atk weapon sale with a crazy price tag. I don't understand the actual value of it. Yeah sure, it provides higher atk or matk than non-max one but how much is the gap. Let's say a weapon has max atk @210 and another same weapon @205. The 5 atk diff can get magnified because of buff, skill, xtal, and so on. But can the 5 atk finally becomes 1% damage difference?
If I am sitting on billions of spina, I don't care and just want the best. But what puzzles me is the extremely high price for max atk weapon - often more than 2x or average atk ones.

Well, the fact that strengthening the weapon through production involves the chance for the weapon to break, some weapons probably break easier than the others for example max atk Koda costs 7m or less now, while R.Tengu max costs 90m'ish now, while I am not too sure of the difficulty of strengthening I have noticed that Koda Max atk price has declined quite a bit.
For weapons that have no strengthening in prod, honestly higher atk = higher dmg, nuff said. For their price... well you never really know how hard it is to get max atk from drop on a weapon. (I'll never know since Im not returning to iruna anytime soon)

If I am sitting on billions of spina, I don't care and just want the best. You essentially answered your own question. A Lot of people out there have more spina than things to spend them on. Look at it this way; once you have your 15M Ultimi set, what do you do with your other 1,500,000,000 other than buying a 2S Sword, a Slotted myrica, etc etc etc. Add that to the power of "my e-peen is longer than yours", and you have a source of income if you get into the market fast/early enough.
