1H Sword: 2 ATK from STR and DEX
2H Sword: 3 ATK STR, 1 ATK DEX
Bow: 3 ATK DEX, 1 ATK STR
Bowgun: 4 ATK DEX
Wand: 1 ATK INT
Magic Device: 2 ATK INT, 2 ATK AGI
Knuckles: 2 ATK AGI, Description says it gets some ATK from DEX but it must be less than 1. So maybe .5 ATK DEX
STR gives ATK speed when using Swords, a fairly small amount I must add
DEX increases HIT and CSPD
INT increases MATK by 4, and MDEF by 1. I think MP maybe too?
AGI increases Flee/Evasion and ASPD
VIT increases HP and DEF, maybe to a small degree MDEF as well
All that said Archers add pure DEX. Also for future reference almost every build at the moment is only 1 stat. 1H Sword users are the only class that might use more than one stat, STR, DEX, and VIT(for tanking).
You can get ASPD and HP from gear/skills. Specifically you want to get the Survival Skill tree to level 2, get Safe Rest to 5, then max HP increase. It gives roughly 110 HP per point. Forest Wolf Garb+Cape give 300 ASPD total. You can also Remodel the Forest Wolf Garb to Light for more ASPD. Also unless you are a pure AGI Knuckles build you will not get enough EVA so don't even bother with it. Knuckles users have to get light armor and Evasion passives to dodge bosses often so no one else can really get close to it at the moment.
